i ordered mine in may and got here at halifax on 24 june still waiting at halifax i called mb canada they told me software update they released s class hopefully next week e class will be released too they are working on e class this week

Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ 2018
This is the mail I received yesterday:
"Hello Mr. Simard,
We received news of the new Mercedes-Benz E63s AMG class.
According to the news we should receive them around October 22, 2017.
Pleasure !!"
I tell him that I will call him back before the end of the week to tell him my decision about the car.
I need to think about it.
First thing first, May to end of october is a long time for a car (car that cost 150k$ with tx !) to stand at the VPC.
Secondly, I catch a car on the fly in the first ordered cars. I had the choice between 2 E63S and this one have all I want (premium package, AMG driver package, night package, CF interior etc) but It's Selenite grey with RTR wheel. If I ordered It by myself, it would have been designo Diamond White Metallic with RTS black wheels...
But I want this monster sooo badly

I hear you...so disappointed too. I will ask for an update today see if something changed.
Oh and on another note for all of us waiting for cars, shouldn't we unite and write a letter to MB Canada to see what compensation should we expect?

It’s sucks I know
But I’m good to break it in hard... I’m sure if the weather cooperates (no snow end of October...) then I can fit in a track day or 3 at Cayuga (Toronto Motorsports Park) lol. Maybe burn off the tires that come with and have a set of Sport Cup 2 ready for springtime

Why do you say this? I have always babied my break ins but I haven't kept the cars past 20k miles so will it even effect me or will it effect the next owner on a hard break in? I apologize for my lack of intelligence on this matter I haven't really ever looked into it, just followed the mechanics recommendation. Thoughts anybody? There's probably whole chains of this conversation so maybe I should look there instead of getting off topic here

Word is there were no cars damaged at the Brunswick VPC
My 2018 is sitting at the VPC in Brunswick, GA and this is the update from my dealer here in Houston, TX today:

Thank you for the email. Unfortunately the E63’s have not been released yet. We were hoping for the middle of this month but everything has been pushed back now with Hurricane Harvey and Irma in Florida. No vehicles were damaged at the port, but the facility has been closed for the last week and is still attempting to regain power, so everything has been pushed back a bit. As soon as I’m able to find out more information I will for sure let you know!
I hope all is well with you and your family."

Well, at least that is good news. Brunswick was hit pretty hard by Irma as a tropical storm. My car has been at the VPC in Brunswick for over 3 months now. I'll check in with my dealer today.

i think they are just making up excuses i live in toronto we were not even close to any storm neither do halifax got any storms we all still waiting for our cars to be delivered they are just making excuses because they have no answer or release date

October Delivery
Dealer sent me an email yesterday to apologize and voice to me he has no answer for the delay but his AMG rep confirmed delivery next month....... no date. Actually was traveling North on 95 today and swung by Baltimore VPC. Huge place. My car has been sitting there since first week of June. You can spot the GT's but trying to distinguish an e from distance impossible. Thousands of cars. Looking forward to next month.....

I order my e63 wagon this July, before it was listed as a model on the website and before published pricing. The vehicle has a vin number and the dealer is telling me it should be arriving late October so it could be the same production schedule as yours.

Update Delivery Date
Just spoke to my dealer in Toronto and my car is on the train from Halifax and will arrive by end of this week at the dealer. I asked them to double check and they said the VIN is showing up in their internal system and are now able to track the car. They said to expect delivery by Friday.
Wait is over everyone. Seems like the car is certified and ready to roll in Canada at least. See you all at the track.
