I'm in Montreal (Laval). Same story as you (car at port since mid May) and i'm shocked to find out that Transport Canada is unaware of this since I heard that the car had failed the certification once before.
No one in Canada or the US has received 2018 E63S or GT R and I believe the cars need to be certified in both countries before being released.

Did you get your's from MB Laval? That's where I ordered mine. I went in last week. They told me end of August but maybe an extra 2 week delay due to something with software and emissions. The guy wasn't specific because he didn't know himself. Transport Canada said they were waiting on MB Canada and no one had even submitted the E 63AMGs to be evaluated/approved. So I don't know who to believe...but I've been hearing the same **** since end of may. They told me it's in halifax...so mid june. Then they said end of July...I've literally just been waiting...and paying for problems on my RS5 off warranty. Been a total headache.
Yes from Laval. I get a great service there and have no reason to believe that they are not telling the truth.

ya I feel ya. If I had known it would take this long I would have traded in my car ASAP get max value...now it's just depreciating. I would have used my truck or something IDC. Ya I know the cars are in Halifax. They showed me at the dealership. Just want to get the call "You're car is being prepped/ready". I will be happy then. I was expecting to have this for the summer and maybe get some iCar or napierville runs in. If it does come mid sept or end of august there will still be time before the tracks close. Sooner is better than later for all of us hehe

BUT on the bright side, we need to be patient. I have tried this car at a private AMG event (yes, some are running on tracks since early June) and it is far superior to the previous generation.

Ya since you know what MTL is like. You can see why I'd purchase this car. The roads here are terrible and this thing can get around comfortably and be gentle or you can turn it to a monster and be the most powerful car on the road at any given time. It's like this car was made for MTL lol well at least for someone who lives here and wants something supercar like. Rather have one of these year round as opposed to a summer car plus a non summer car.
Same as you guys...but order it from Québec city. Car at the Halifax port and no news about it and when beside a email by my dealer at the end of July to told me about the delay...

The new M5 will be officially out tomorrow...with specs like the E63S (600HP, AWD with 2WD mode etc.) The first pics look great and the incitives, because I have already one, will certainly worth a look.

the M5 won't be delivered until probably May 2018. Can you wait that much longer ?

to him that car will be delivered in August. Car has been in Baltimore port since June 3rd. We shall see 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Dealer talked to AMG hoping to release by end of the month, but still can't commit 100%

Now that the 'build' is up and running for the E63, I'm feeling very confident that the first deliveries are getting close.

Yes, it wasn't 'live' last night so definitely happened sometime in the past 12 hours.
I went to my local dealer a few months ago to place an order for a 2018 E63. My salesman told me they have 2 (white and silver) coming in August or September. The Silver is fully loaded for about $119k and the Diamond White has only a few options for $112k. I decided to go with the Diamond White which was built on August 2nd; I was told this morning that I should have the car in 2-3 weeks.
