Just said goodbye to the E63s
unfortunately my issues with it happened right away with barely 400 miles on it.
Cracked rear suspension, diff had to be replaced twice, rear suspension had to be replaced again and so on.
However Mercedes did the right thing and agreed to buy back the car after the first diff.
They let me keep the car and drive it for 3 months while I waited for my replacement E63 to be built and arrive. ( still waiting and will most likely be a 2019)
despite all the issues this was an amazing car. I drove it 3800 miles as my daily driver to go to job sites, meetings, out to dinner etc. It really does everything well when it is not in the shop and is one of the most flexible daily drivers around.
I will miss it and hope the next owner will have better luck with it than I did. However my lane keeping assist and distrobic doesn’t work and my back window doesn’t close so....
I cannot wait for my F90 M5 to get here so that I can compare the two and for the next E63 to be built with the features I did not get the first time around.
Do you still get to do the Laguna Seca event on the 8th?

I let go of my M5 allocation, which unfortunately, may have been built before my E63. I had already decided on the E63S, but it pissed me off that Peter Pan BMW informed me that I would have to pay a premium on an M5 order due to demand - especially after I told them right from the beginning that I would not pay a premium!
