My wife does not like the AMG Performance front seats. Is there a way to exchange them for the regular AMG contour seats...even though it's considered a "downgrade"?

It is going to be difficult and probably very pricey. the regular seats will need new electrical harness and programming too. If it is possible, you may be looking at $3000 US ?? for both front seats

 

I'm sure there is some guy that will take your wife, keep the seats.

 

Likely far more than that. Easier to trade the wagon for one w regular seats.

OP what are the specs on your wagon?

 

It’s a 2019 E63S AMG wagon. Only had it for 3K miles so far but she doesn’t like seats.

 

Find a dealer or shop that can confirm whether it is possible. Then if it is, post here looking to see if somebody would want to swap seats that has the same color interior. Low probability but worth a shot. Otherwise I'd say you'll be closer to $15k if you just want to buy a set w/o selling yours. Do you own or lease it?

dang - new car coming with "nut brown".... (do they even make sport seats in 'nut brown'? and who the hell named this color 'nut brown'?)

 

Yes they do and yes the name is absurd. They are seriously overdue for more interior choices for the E63
