I have nearly a dozen paint samples, including all the greens from the G-wagon. If I were building a G-wagon my easy choice would've been the designo matte green. However, in the end, I didn't want a full on green for the wagon.
In the end, I'm just a touch nervous about my inability to change from the nut brown interior but fairly confident it'll work with my exterior color. Only time will tell.
I have a strong feeling somebody will guess my exterior color based on my subtle hints in this thread.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
No more guesses from me, I think I've got it now...looking forward to your delivery shots.

I ruled out black because I'm not into piping and particularly don't like how they have stitching and piping together. I also don't care for the alcantara seat accents.
Thankfully I love the brown and appreciate no deviated stitching. (And I'm a total sucker for grey and brown! Hint, hint.)

The brown and beige leather options do not have the alcantara, they are all leather. The black and the grey leather options have the alcantara trim in the seats on the base and the back.

On the exterior, I went with black trim as the chrome is chromated plastic and it flakes over time. So I didn't want to deal with that again as I tend to keep cars for a long time and not put many miles on them. So they all age out. This stuff is not real chrome as in polished aluminum, or chrome steel, or polished stainless, it is just plastic with (fake) chrome.
On the interior, I did the nut brown with the high gloss ash brown since it is a darker brown, and "makes" the nut brown look a little bit more brown. Nut brown is a marginal (real) brown to me and under some lighting conditions it looks really light which I dislike.
The only thing(s) that I need to complete are new BBS wheels, and some sort of exhaust as it is a boring quiet car. The reason we buy these cars are to stimulate the senses: speed, sound, smell, and vibration. This car checks the box on speed and can use help on sound.

Thought I knew what the exterior color was but you threw me off with “hint of green.” Not sure what vintage Porsche grey has a hint of green in it, but perhaps Heron or Stone grey. Dolphin and Fashion are more neutral in their greyness. I would consider a hint of green to be Radium green or Auratium green. 🤷🏻♂️ My 356 is Light Ivory.

I've been working with BBS on wheels but have run into a dead end and none fit. As you know proper fitment is everything. Please let me know when/if you find something that works.
As far as exhaust, I don't want a loud wagon. I have other cars for this purpose and grow tired of them. This is a sleeper and I find the exhaust note rather perfect on the wagon. Not too soft and not too loud.
