crankshaft and camshaft position sensor correlation bank 1 sensor B
does anybody know what that means and how to fix it?
Worst case is timing chain slipped or cam phaser hardware not functioning correctly.
Less worse is a faulty crank position sensor or cam position sensor. Or oil in the cam sensor or cam magnet connectors.
pull the cam position sensor and cam magnet connectors and carefully inspect for oil. If none, clear the code and see if it happens again.
If oil is present, replace sensors and magnets. Check ECU connector for oil on pins.

so i bought this lets see if this fixes the problem
this is the e300 engine diagram the crankshaft is number 10 i think i located it when the part comes in im going to replace and see if the p0017 code comes of if not definitely going to have to spend that big money at the benz dealership
All done, it solved my Code P0335. Now it starts without any hesitation & doesn’t die. Check engine light went off for a day. On again with another code. Getting ready for my next fix.
