ECC Slav tuned performance over stock - 60 to 130
We started down the mod route previously with the addition of a BB Intake and CPC module..... those results can be found here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/w213-amg/...-ecu-tune.html
This thread was created to start the documentation process on the performance gains that the recent addition of a ECC Slav ECU and TCU tune netted us.
The flash went on the car yesterday in 90°F Houston heat.
After allowing the car to adapt to the new tune, we went and ran a 60-130 run to compare the performance prior to the recent flash.
Proof is in the pudding...
Prior to yesterday, the best performance attained from the car was an 8.84 in near ideal temperatures and DA.... realistically we doubt we could have done any better.
In optimum conditions, the car ran.....
To put this is perspective to a run we made in conditions similar to what we ran today, in ~70°F temps, stock the car ran a....
Today, in mid 80°F temps, and on a whim on the highway, we clocked the following 60-130 time....
That is a fantastic time for a W213 running a BB Intake, BB CPC and ECC Slav ECU & TCU tune. 2 full seconds over stock in similar temperatures.
This is on stock fueling and pump 93 octane gas as well!
While we haven't had a chance to put the car on the dyno, Slav sent us a dyno plot of the performance we could expect when running 93 pump.
Given the performance in less than optimum conditions, I'd say the car is making power as advertised. ~ 740 awhp and 790 awtq on pump 93 is pretty damn good in my book.
The logs showed the car hit requested boost targets and there was zero knock and zero timing pull. This tells me there's more in it when the temperatures cool off in the fall.
ECC Slav truly has these platforms figured out and dialed in. Now we just need cooler temps to run a 1/4 mile.
I'll update this thread as more performance figures present themselves. The car will stay with these performance mods for the foreseeable future. It remains to be seen if we will tweak the tune a little more in the cooler months.
Please reach out to ECC in Toronto if you wish similar performance numbers.

This tune is no joke.
PS Shout out to Chris Mattox of Star Motor Works... recently moved to Houston in the great California exodus of 2022.

Chris has a great working relationship with Slav of ECC.
Chris was gracious enough to work with my friend to install the ECU and TCU tunes and perform street logs and install tune tweaks.
You can reach Chris via his company Star Motor Works in Costa Mesa California.

For Comparison, this is my car with PTG1000s, meth injection, BB intakes, Catless DPs, ECU/TCU/CPC tune on 93. Not sure why the DA didn't show here, but it was in 80 degree weather, i think I can improve on this time for sure with upgraded fuel pumps and some sort of a E mix.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Regular service I got covered, I mean the specialty stuff similar to what you're doing.
Thanks, and stay cool - gonna be a bit on the warm side for the next few days.

Do you think you would be close to your upgraded turbo times with stock turbos if you had done the pumps instead?
On a side note, my car was slower with 4 gallons of E85 mixed into a full tank of 93 than just 93 octane. My car was stock ECU and TCU
The 7.25 from OP were done with around 2000DA and weather at 93degrees (not sure why the draggy says 80). Looking forward to seeing the same car when the temps go down in TX. Probably not in the mid 6s, but high 6s I can definitely see

We shall see what she can really do with the PTG1000s and upgraded pumps.... Soon.

This car is running the ECC Slav sauce and Chris is the go to guy for tuning.
He can get you tuned no problem. He is listed in the initial thread.
