2023 e63s wagon

Ivan MacKenzie.
I've literally lost sleep trying to figure out the rationale behind this design faux pas.

The camera location on the Navy F-14 Tomcat was placed right beneath the RADAR Nose Cone. Years later on the F-18 Hornet we placed the Camera which is part of the ATFLIR Pod beneath the fuselage somewhat off-axis. The ATFLIR Performance is Legendary and that ugly Pod, an afterthought, was even able to track UFOs before they hit their portals and disappeared into another dimension... LOL.
@I.T. Guy and other Canadians: anyone crossing the Dominion to attend the F1 GP event at Montreal? Unfortunately my Wagon will be in transit between DFW and ATL on raceday. I hope to catch the Miami GP next year. Mechanical Engineer underclassman had excellent VIP seats from that weekend...she married the Mayor of West Palm Beach! Vegas is just 10-hours away and maybe someday will catch F1 at COTA...

2 FE’s in Alberta that i know of both have CCB’s both accounted for one is a sedan another is my wagon.
Driving into my tiny 20x20 made for the city garage is still unnerving LOL and I used to whip our GL in and out no problem. Getting used to all the sensors screaming at me with inches on each side - the hood bulges make it odd so I can't tell where the fenders stick out to and I don't want to learn the hard way.
Yeah that's about it so far, the front is a real big baloon compared to my old car. Otherwise I don't have much seat time it's been getting corrected and sealed the last couple days, should be done today! Then I need to get the B pillars PPF'd they were all swirled to hell somehow by the dealer/ppf guys in the 2km they had it for LOL. And the black side badges were all swirled too - all fixed up. Inside I did end up coating it all soft surfaces, it looks awesome.
Tomorrow hopefully is my first day to work in it UNLESS my photographer friend lines up a photo shoot for me then I will not drive it until then...... it is as perfect as it's ever going to be right now, everything corrected by my detailer with only 17km total on the odo

When I swapped cars I also noticed an SUV feel, which is odd because I left a 2020 E53. So maybe it's a pre vs post FL thing. It takes a few weeks before you forget about it.
Today was my first real world drive - took my son to school, then went to the office. My W212 feels like a slot car compared to this thing. I put the stiffest shock setting, made sure it wasn't raised, and yeah it's night and day. The W212 feels like a sports car. I'm gussing lowering will only help me go through tires faster and scraping the front end. Heh.
Oh well like @LMinn says hopefully I'll get used to it. Or maybe I will just need a real sports car now. I got away with having one car for a looooooooong time because it filled my driving needs. This new one so far, not so much, it's more of an appliance then a drivers car.

Wagon's can't get the 3D super sound package
The doors are the metal round ones, the triangles are just black normal tweeters.
Let me know what you find on the rotating ones.
ALSO
How come the E53 had the nice turbo vents, and our E63 has the lame normal horizontal slots? Are yours horizontal too? It's like it's backwards.
I think the factory is just emptying random parts bins to build cars. lol.

These cars offer a great all-around user experience. Whether you keep it forever or just a short time you'll never be sorry to have owned one. They have character (although Mercedes strips more and more away with each iteration) and are quite memorable.
