My insurance company didn’t have new vins to add coverage - it got added it in today and then they promptly told me…. Allstate does not insure cars over x$
So I’m in the process of moving everything to another company before I can drive it. Dealer parked it inside until then.

Sorry to hear that, dang that is frustrating, hopefully it gets resolved soon.
I think many people recommend CAA, for price alone but if you ever need service they are the absolute worse. I personally use Allstate myself but honestly they aren't the best. There are many others, Aviva I heard and personal experience is the worse. Shop around. Some frequent ones that pop up is Scotia LifeInsurance (BNS), Belairdirect and Onlia never had experience with either though so research : ) Good luck!
Forgot to mention there are also the major bank ones, like TD, CIBC, BMO, National Bank I guess? Intact is another one again don't have much experience if any about them when it comes to automobile insurance.

Aviva is worse in my experience and also in experience from others. I mean let's be fair insurance is here to make money, the mandate of having insurance just helps them make more money. They will raise rate when there are multiple claims in one area like hail storm so they are never really losing money, they also have a bunch of excuses to raise the rates and the fed will support them.
Better insurance company is really another word for insurance companies that are "not as worse as others" but still terrible.

The 4x4 look gotta go. It feels like an SUV compared to my lowered W212. I’m going to wait a bit and get used to where the front end is parking with curbs, while hoping someone makes an easy dongle soon for facelift that allows per mm self adjustments and just not just two settings.
Wheels are still a few weeks out. I’m having these cross spokes ceramic coated now in case I keep for winter. But they are growing on me, the 5 spokes might end up for winter, or, in boxes if I get 19” for winter. I’m just letting it ride for now.
Missing DINAMICA headliner isn’t so bad but the black is “cheaper” look for sure.
Missing real roller shades! Oh well. I’m alway driving and zero people used them in my old car anyway so I’m slowly getting over it.

Congratulations at finally getting the car into your garage! I now understand why you stated earlier that you were not bothered by winter driving with all of the sand on the road (because you were doing a full PPF). One of the items that you keep mentioning is lowering the car, but first to check out parking stops. There is a technical article that shows the approach angles for the front end so that you can avoid scraping the trim when entering or exiting a sloping driveway. I always raise the height when I approach or descend from my driveway because I measured the distance between the lowest part of the front end and the pavement and determined that it was about .3" when at normal height which was too close for comfort. YMMV
Looking great. Is the suspension raised in that last picture? W213 will always feel like an SUV vs W212 and suspect lowering won't help.

The hood bulges also make it feel a lot bigger.
But
IMHO everything, absolutely everything, is better in this car. I was worried I wouldn't like it. I love it.

The car speaks for itself and the vanity place... LOL.
Unlikely…probably due to where all the mounting clips/points are.
I’ll investigate once the wagon comes in. Mercedes likes to reuse brackets and its even more unlikely they would create separate parts for each of the W213 AMG variants.
