The issue is the build sheet shows B07 (CCBs), but perhaps they were never assembled on the wagon. There's certainly a mystery as to why the wagon is at the VPC for almost 4 months. Usually there can be a minor part or programming that is performed before the car is released to the carrier for delivery. Clearly, the issue must be non-trivial and difficult to resolve. However, there has been no communication and that too is weird.

I almost put deposit on the MB South Orlando one, and they told me it was reserved by someone else at the last minute. After that, they still uploaded pictures on their website and the car is still listed there. Not sure if it was truly reserved by someone else or they just don't want to sell it to me.

It is interesting that some of these wagons show as customer ordered and others are open for trade to another dealer or individual. Then some of the ones marked as not available for trade are actually being auctioned. How many are being held for ADM? One wonders about the sales tactics. However, soon they'll all be gone and just a memory.

Newport Beach, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, Laguna Niguel, South Orlando are reserved according to my previous research. South Orlando may worth a try since I do suspect they may just don't want to sell to me for some reason.

Out of state? if so that would be why.
For Florida, the most likely places to sell to out of state buyers is Miami/Ft. Lauderdale MB dealers. Anywhere else and they probably will not.

They told me they can sell to out of state customer, and can use notary for signing. But it could be a lie, once he figured out it wasn't the case, just made something up.

Some people are confused about few of those cars not showing on dealer website. That's because they can control what is on the website but cannot change what they have in MB internal inventory system.

If they are still making them, why the heck did they have to cancel people's orders that ordered them last year (like mine) and make us then scrounge for leftover specs mostly kind of closest possible to our orders?

^^^Only one answer. Terrible management. Again, I don't fault them for supply chain issues and regulations. But do fault them for poor/no communication with some of their most valued customer. Idiocy.
My 'buying experience' has failed on so many levels over such a long period of time that I'm seriously considering writing off the brand altogether. At this point it feels unforgivable.

I was entertaining a GT63 for summers and love the idea of the S63 one day but seeing it took years to get the E63, and now it's been sitting at the dealer with a broken transmission for two months...

Oh man I'm so sorry. Totally forgot about your situation. You must seek fast resolution in the form of a) immediate action to get issue resolved or b) replacement or c) buyback or d) monetary damages.
I'm always the 'nice guy' getting run over in these situations so could totally understand if you're not being difficult.
I suspect Mercedes has near 100% resources focused on electrification with skeleton crews on literally everything that's not directly or indirectly related.

i would look into a buy back but do not know Canadian law on that.
In the US, the car must have had a dealer visit for the same issue 3 times before it can qualify for a buy back/lemon law.
Funny enough my used E63s was a buy back but they got the transmission sorted. I mean 132k miles and no issues as of this email so ti has been sorted. Not sure why the same issue persists YEARS after the first run with the MCT9.
