Don't forget coupe and cabriolet,,, they are all part of a family, Right? (well, ignoring the fact they don't come in E 63 S trim)

lol @ graphitegreyamg

IMO, someone modding a '67 Dodge Dart is just as cool as someone modding a Lamborghini Aventador.

what if you owned 2 E63 wagons for half a year before finally letting one go. and even though you have 3 kids it's rarely anyone but you in the wagon...and your wife won't even ride in the new one because it's "too loud"...asking for a friend...

My biggest problem--I'm not used to having such a pristine and expensive daily driver so I wind up using my 2012 full-sized RR much of the time. (I have two German Shepherds that don't fit in the wagon. Plus I would never take it to the airport or say carpool kids to soccer on rainy days.) With this car you almost need a junker to split the time. I'm cursed because I like to keep my cars in showroom condition. For me it's also a luxury driving a car I don't have to stress about.

Nevertheless, I've always said this wagon is so good that it's almost worth the money.
you dont lose money with the GT3 lmao

^ ... that depends if you had paid some crazy ADM $ to dealer for a new one to begin with

I am in Canada, there are dealers here that they want $100K+ ADM.

^^^I always figure out a way to lose money... Always pay ADM, full PPF, BBS wheels, etc. And I go through a lot of them. Couldn't afford to do the same with AMGs though. For those, I expect to lose 40-50% over three years.

Really? They must be huge GSDs! Wouldn’t have a wagon if not for our two…

That I understand…it’s regularly a big hairy mess back there, and the wagon is used to take them to and from trails daily for hikes. TBH it’s probably better that I never got an E63 allocation. Must be difficult for you to be OCD with two GSDs in your life!

We have a few Mercedes/AMG with the oldest, a 1989. We really don’t look at these as investments or look at potential resale down the road. I do see the depreciation aspect but if you never sell the car you can’t really account for the depreciation.

Beautiful dogs, Alan!Mine are likely similar in size as yours but quite cramped for headroom in our other wagon and have REKT the back of my RR (not to mention the smell). It is tough having OCD but would be far tougher without GSDs in my life...

I personally cannot afford a new one , i like the 911.2 , they are about 40k over asking right now, dropping quarterly.
pre covid was 180, a pill i can kind of swallow.
probably going to trade in the wagon for the 911.2 GT3 in manual.

Just like graphitegreyamg's comment being a wagon owner, lol.

I think it's just some fun and joking around.

At least for myself, I don't judge anyone on how much they choose to spend on a car, I'm just happy for anyone who is happy and loves their car!
yes just joking around

Nice dogs! How do you keep the white leather in the RR clean with them?

I wonder if you were an actual livestock dealer, what your ADM would be on a real live unicorn.

Thanks...yours as well! Headroom is just enough. But, yeah, the dogs' car will always be a lease...I'm OCD about the ones we own. Actually, having GSDs has freed me of OCD in other areas to a large extent...

Do I infer correctly that you have one of the 2023 non-FE wagons coming?

^^^Yes. Haven't said much because I didn't exactly believe it after the debacle I've been through with my 2022 order and then no communication from MBUSA. Ordered last September. Locked October for January completion and March delivery. Arrived in Baltimore two weeks ago. Still there.

Harris, the leather, thankfully, is a few shades darker than white. I've used only Leather Masters cleaner and conditioner for the past 20 years. It is amazing stuff. Way overdue, maybe. Project for this summer. Most every surface in my truck is covered in leather, even the roof. Even though it's 14 years old, it'll still reek of leather again after a good cleaning and conditioning. BTW, if you get the Leather Masters, make sure you opt for the matte conditioner.
