Check engine light been on since Sunday
Forced to drive it since I was away and wifey had a fight with a pothole and had to borrow my car until I was back to address.
For the check engine light I checked the regular stuff like tighten gas cap etc. no dice. Rough idle is badk. My HP Tuner's laptop is gone and no time yet to install on another so no scans. I need to grab an Autotel or something one day to always have a scanner no matter the hardware shuffle. Dealer appointment set for next Tuesday.
The pothole really won. At least No AMG's were hurt in the making of this picture!!
Her rim survived, but to match tires on the axel I got two, then though WTH better get 4, so 4 tires later...

I’m waiting for the “shakedown” to be over.
If I had a Time Machine I’d spend less then the 213 sales and luxury taxes on a Black Boost engine and turbos for the 212 and the rest on a used Ferrari.

everything is temporary. Reliability, love, luxury, life, and relationships. All are impermanent, as you know.
The dream you're dreaming about is something you're already inhabiting and living and experiencing: that lady to the right of you in that red car, the fact that you wake up and aren't distracted by horrible medical illness so that you can think about Italian and German cars, and, among many many other things, the peace you have and the groundedness you have about these things just being nuisances, and after a shakedown all will be back to being settled.
sometimes you don't need a Ferrari, you need a mirror. The arrival fallacy is the real poison of life, sometimes isn't it? But you show a lot of gratitude on this forum and gratitude is the antidote to the arrival fallacy, appreciating today versus waiting for tomorrow, appreciating what you got versus complaining about what you don't got.
so, that next check engine light that's coming up in about a few months or a year, bring it on because on the other side of that check engine light is a mechanic who's gonna fix it (under warranty) and a guy that's gonna continue to enjoy this beast of a wagon.

So I always wondered why you used the flat bed as your profile picture OP, like actually curious, I wonder if the car magically have less problems (and have to be "flatbeded' less", no offense intended whatsoever) if it was a different image... just a very random, weird, strange, absurd thought of mine. That's all : )
I took it as the car was delivered on a flatbed, something done when moving more valuable vehicles when purchased. Of course the AMG E63S isn't known for its reliability.

I fully understand that was the image he took during delivery I followed along his journey after all : )
I kept seeing flatbeds lately around my place (Toronto) and it kept reminding me of something breaking down as those are the vehicles that are broken on the flatbed

It is up to you, it was just my opinion I really hope you didn't find it offensive, not my intention after all, how about a PPF shot : ), I am sure you have a lot of pictures to choose from : )
You never know, maybe or just maybe you will have less problems after a switch of image : ) I am hoping you can enjoy the car more than having to keep on repairing it.
I'm loving the look of the spacers BUT I don't like the darting out it does flooring it at high speeds. And it's got a bit of a shimmy. Will be swapping to no spacers to do some testing. Today I really ripped a few times and it was not planted in the front; skittish and one time it really pulled to the right. Like the lane correct (which I have off) decided to yank the wheel. I *think* that it's the spacers and yaw control freaking out?? I never had this issue with the snow tires and wheels.
Funny I still had it in RACE pulling in, using the flappy paddles and as I'm enjoying the sound getting into the garage, I turn it off satisfied and my wife pokes her head out the door "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR CAR?"
