Oh I forgot Oakville is also owned by Awin ever since Toronto Retail Group dissolved. Or was Oakville always owned by Awin? I know MB Markham was owned by Toronto Retail Group which as you know which was corporately owned by MB Canada.

I *think* that it's the spacers and yaw control freaking out?? I never had this issue with the snow tires and wheels.
So I swapped the spacers on/off a couple times, made sure they looked good, no dirt, grease, anything weird, visually inspect ok, but man there is a big shimmy that increases with speed with them on. City not so much it's there but meh, highwy super noticeable.

Bumped another thread on spacers to see if anyone else has any issues

Are the spacers you bought hubcentric?
They're from supreme power right?

Yes and Yes

Supreme sent me a new pair, told me to wire brush the hub, thinly grease before installation to avoid corrosion and future shimmy that can result. As soon as I have some time I'll throw them on and report back.

Anxious to hear the results. Still have mine sitting in a box, so I'll for sure be installing mine based on your procedures.

Are you still lowered 22mm with the spacers?
Wondering if you rub anywhere when you put the car in sport +/ Race and it goes down another 15mm?

Great question

I'm now at -30/32mm F/R in Comfort and Sport and -20mm in Sport+ because I don't know how much I want to push it in Sport + stacking on what the car lowers it. Is it 15mm? I just started another thread to ask eveyone https://mbworld.org/forums/w213-amg/...ights-e63.html

Ok but do you rub in any of those modes with the spacers?

BTW, just ask chatgpt: - change to your year car although im sure its the same.On a 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon (W213) equipped with Air Body Control (air suspension), switching from Comfort to Sport, Sport+, or Race mode does indeed lower the vehicle. Here's a breakdown:

✅ Suspension Height Changes by Drive Mode:

  • Comfort mode: Standard ride height.
  • Sport mode: Lowers approx. 10 mm (0.4 inches).
  • Sport+ / Race mode: Lowers an additional 7–10 mm, for a total drop of around 15–20 mm (0.6–0.8 inches) from Comfort.
So overall:
Comfort ➝ Race = approx. 15–20 mm lower ride height.
These adjustments help improve aerodynamics and handling by lowering the center of gravity at higher speeds and performance settings.

Non no rubbing under any conditions lowered at these levels with the the spacers. And I can't even get my fingers between the rear tire and fender lip so that's pretty amazing to me.

Thanks! I don't trust the AI's but it is what it is. Also the car lowers further over 120kph / 70mph so there's that too.

Great to hear. Im gonna do 12.5 F/R
Oh another question, are you gonna get aftermarket control arms so you can properly adjust the alignment/camber to mitigate the inner tire wear issue we have?

No plans for arms. The CETE module puts it at stock ride height after the mph I choose so I'm only really rolling around lowered city speeds or slower. The "extra" wear IMHO is negligible as every AMG I've owned kills the inner tires no matter what I do.

Plus the aftermarket arms seem like more trouble then they are worth. Posts here indicate they are not the greatest build quality, need mods/good shop to tweak them to install, and start squeaking and won't stop no matter what.

Spacer update

Turns out cleaning everything and installing the new spacers fixed all shimmy. I greased them this time and will clean and grease again on every winter/summer rim change.

Supreme Power was very helpful thank you! They put their money where there mouth was and sent me replacements, confident it was a dirt and corrosion problem and not a spacer problem.
They were right!!

Thumbs up

Supreme really did come through, and thanks to you for such a great detailed write up! Can't wait to install these following your instructions (oh and CETE module as well).

That is Wild! Yes stock 20"

I started another thread to try and figure out all the different shock setting heights, lowering, etc. but no one has started any discussion yet over there. For example when parking does parking in Race or Sport+ or Sport or C combined with whatever shock settings those use impact what the car settles at? Or doe the engine have to keep running to continue to stay in those modes? I've seen my car odly look like a 4x4 again while pumping gas, then while pumping hear PFFT click click <weird AMG noises> SHHHHHHH and the car settles down more.

Justin from Pur Blanc Fine Auto Spa did a full inside outside under hood detail. Car is in great shape! The only light scratching was from when I accidentally drop the gas cap and it dangles.

All perfect again! Leathers all treated, and exterior coated with 3 year Ceramic.

Car is better than on delivery day.

Justin is the best.

I used to have someone come out regularly but they kept forgetting to show up. Finally said the hell with it and I do it myself now.
