Bone stock E63S PFL 610 HP at the wheel on dyno?
As far as I know, these thing come with 604 HP at the CRANK, at least that's whats claimed by MB.
Well, today I ran mine at the local dyno and got a result of 610 HP at the WHEEL..
what is going on here?
This car is bone stock, with absolutely no tune, or performance hardware upgrade.
Shouldnt I be seeing numbers around 520 HP or so at the WHEEL, accounting for 15% train loss?

my car is 2019.
So that 630 number in the video is at the wheel, correct?
So does that mean these cars make ~690 HP from crank?
why would MB advertise it as mere 604 then?
Im even more confused now..
Am I not understanding this correctly?
As far as I know, dynos always measure HP at the wheel, not at the crank.
And HP from crank is always higher than at the wheel, due to 15% drivetrain loss (usually 20%~25% on RWD, but i read somewhere that these 4matic+ are around 15%?)

A friend recently dyno’d 591 stock at the wheels in humid summer air. Corrected that’s 622.
Your 610 is right in line if you had good air. Get the air and DA for your run.
Also back to back runs can be different by 20hp. My tuned 212 ran a 589 then a 607 with zero changes, back to back.

an important item of note,
the dyno's are supposed to be run on the gear that provides 1:1. In the MCT that is 6th gear. 4th gears in the MCT 9 = 1.6611. That is acting as a 1.6611 multiplier. If they are doing that because of speeds at the 1:1 ratio the dyno needs to be adjusted for that additional increase.
