CPC module from Alibaba for $150 - is it legit?
I’m in need for a new CPC module to remove the torque limits and get my car out of limp mode…
The cheapest CPC module I’ve found is $1699. They range from that price up to about $2799 as you probably already know.
I googled around, and decided to search for it on Alibaba - this is what I found:
https://x.alibaba.com/AwajiP?ck=pdp
A CPC module for $150, absolutely crazy if it’s actually the exact same thing as the other companies are selling.
Alibaba usually has a very good reputation, super fast and good customer service. The seller has modules for different vehicles and makes. I asked about it and the seller asked for my specific ECU OEM number - this makes me believe they are actually putting effort and are legit… But the price seems too good to be true.
I definately believe it’s worth a try, and if it works, I guess everyone with this car basically HAS to get it. But I don’t want to get my hopes up too much, probably some backlash to it.
I will post 4 pictures of what the CPC module looks like for our car. And you can compare it with the photos of the listing above.
I’m going to ask for real life photos / videos of the product, and I will update you guys if interested!
Best of regards!
says "nice quality" lol
says "Mazda" is the make
not sure saving $1400 is worth tens of thousands of risk - new engine new trans and void warranty ... ymmv
I would be as reluctant to plug this into my $100,000 vehicle as i would if someone randomly gave me a USB jump drive and told me to plug it into my MacBook Pro.

I'm suspicious of this myself. If you do go for it, I'd be very interested to hear how it turns out.
The price difference between those offered by reputable tuners and this is the ability to code them and the custom settings.
That said, charging several thousand for increased performance coding/settings could be considered excessive.

The “blank” is cheap. You still need it coded - which also vin locks it to your car.
Here’s the blank direct for $196
