New rotors/ pads slight shake at higher speeds
I am noticing a slight shake in the steering wheel when braking at higher speeds. I just had the rotors and pads replaced. Any suggestions? Thx

You don't have a winter square wheel-tire Setup that was rotated do you?

I do have a square winter tire setup but not installed yet. I did put new summer tires on a few days after the rotors/ pads. I had them torque the lugs by hand. I had no pads left after 27,000 miles

hopefully they weren't too aggressive on torquing the wheels bolts

I concur, if the vibration only occurs when applying the brakes, then the issue is the brakes and not the wheels/tires. However, the Mercedes brakes are somewhat sensitive to incorrect torqueing of the wheels. Do you recall if the vibration was there right after you had the brakes changed, or only after you also had the tires changed? If the latter, then they likely over torqued your wheels and caused the rotors to warp. If the vibration was there before, then one or both front rotors might have been damaged in transport. Somebody may have dropped them accidently.
Are these the OE rotors? You can also consider upgrading them to full-floating rotors. Not only are they way cheaper than the OE rotors, but as opposed to the semi-floating OE rotors, these can also move laterally to center between the pads. Helps with consistent brake performance regardless of thermal expansion. These rotors are technically OE, too. They were used on the 204 C63 Black Series and also on the AMG GT R when not optioned with the CCBs. I'm on my second set on my '19 C63S coupe. Awesome rotors, and FCP Euro has lifetime replacement warranty. You send back the worn rotors and they give you a credit for the full purchase price.

definitely agree on this generally;
however - he had two things happen in proximity - new tires and balanced and re installed (possible poor balance or over torque and damage rotor) and he had new rotors installed - bad rotors or damaged rotors or poor install or bedding

You can go try re-bedding the brakes yourself and see if that makes any difference, it's easy and it's free and quick.
