Replica Lowenharts??
Diablo Racing makes a replica of the Lowenhart BR5’s called the Diablo Burgini. Instead of purchasing the Lowenharts and paying $875 a wheel, I can buy (4) Diablo Burgini wheels for a total of $885. Now there is a little difference in size. I can no longer enjoy the 18x8 & 18x9 combo on my ’98 C230, I would have to settle for 18x7.5 all around, but then I can rotate my tires with ease. Nevertheless, can anyone tell me why the replicas would a bad way to go? I would love the real Lowenharts, but money is always an issue. I just can’t justify $4,500 in wheels on a $15,500 car. Please share with me your expertise and any other manufactures of replica Lowenharts.

It's not a bad way to go if money is a concern... the only drawback is you're not getting "real" lowenharts... and anyone who knows their wheels will know their knockoffs... and the quality of the wheels won't be the same you get what you pay for...

"Work" is a wheel manufacturer in Japan that makes wheels for Lowenharts. If you want to find something in between replica and real Lowenharts, maybe you'll like it. Take a look at www.work-wheels.co.jp
