Finally getting wheels restored!

My wheels have received stage 1 of the process, stripping.
The owner of the shop was impressed that these original Mercedes wheels were forged and not cast. I guess that's a good thing. He commented that most modern Mercedes wheels are cast and have 12 to 15 welds, and that they break easily.
It will be another week or so, multiple steps involving sandblasting and degassing, and something with an oven, He told me they would look like new.
Here is the Instagram of the place, some good before and after stuff there:

And below is one of my wheels.

I bought the center caps from some local auto supply place, from China I am sure. $12 for all four! I happened to be at the dealer earlier today and asked if they could get them and how much they were. Yes, they could, they were $20 each, $80 for all four!!!!
I can't wait to drive with fresh tires.

The place that restored them charged me 550 euros for all four. They also commented after they had them stripped that these were forged wheels unlike most Mercedes wheels today which are cast. They said that was good.
I can't imagine I could have bought original style wheels for less than 200 each, so I am happy.
This was the place that restored them:

Two brothers working in a small, low ceiling, "building" with over $50,000 worth of equipment for straightening, cnc'ing, baking, welding, and whatever else they do to them. I am pleased.
