Can you go any wider on the stock 18's?

Does anyone know if we can go any wider on the stock 5-spoke 18" wheels in the front or rear?

Thanks!

Really? Wow. I was thinking maybe 265 in the rear, but that's nice you can go that wide. I will keep that in mind when I order some tires soon. I'm tired of not going anywhere through 1st and 2nd with the 255's P-Zero's in the rear!

The good news is you won't have to worry about those 255 P-Zeros for very long.

I am rolling on 275's Nittos but next time around I will get 285s on stock rims. I accurately reported a 100 rpm drop in 7th gear at 75mph. Now reads 2000 rpm and before it was 2100rpm.

Traction is better, looks is better and prices is better. To hell with the oe Pirellis.

I'm glad that someone has finally had the courage to ask this question. I, too, will be very interested in the answers.

You can fit 285 on the back but there will be a noticeable difference in sidewall height.

What sidewall height is best if I go 245 in the front? 40?

Orient, if you go to any discount tire or Firestone they will always match tirerack prices. I have done it for the Hankook V12's and now some Bridgestone Sports at firestone. I went 275 35 18 on my rears. Wow people are actually fitting 285 ?
