What If the S-Class Was a SUPERMODEL?

On the ever-growing list of weird and interesting things the Internet has to offer, here’s a photoset from Los Angeles based fashion photographer, Viktorija Pashuta. Banking on her success with other photosets comparing models to inanimate objects, Pashuta now brings us this gallery for BASIC Magazine: “What If Cars Were SUPERMODELS.”

12 famous models are dressed up as if they were well-known cars come to life. Among them are a Vintage 1960s Corvette depicted as Doris Mayday in sexy pinup attire, and a Tesla Model S as Andrea Debevc, looking sleek and modern.

Our main interest though is a Mercedes-Benz S-Class – described as “a classic woman with exceptional elegance and business style,” modeled by Yazemeenah Rossi, a famous supermodel who is currently 59-years-old. Yazemeenah is dressed as if she were a seasoned business woman, and her pose suggests power and an unwillingness to put up with any BS.

Yazemeenah is quoted as saying, “An elegant woman is a woman who is outstanding by herself no matter what she wears because elegance and class cannot be bought.” Indeed, Mercedes-Benz walks to the beat of its own drum, and the S-Class has definite elegance and class. But does a photo of a woman being objectified as a car? You be the judge.
