2017 Mercedes E-class Wagon Spied

We are struck by two things here: a 2017 E-class wagon heavily covered in camo…. and dirt.

So the E-wagon is not really anything “new” to us. We’ve had one for a while, you just need to pay attention to when one becomes available. We expect the 2017 wagon to be available by late next summer.

The newest iteration will likely keep the same rearward facing jump seats that are perfect for pre-teens to make faces at the cars driving behind you.

Around the front, the new face of Mercedes seems to be showing a bit, but the lower valances are covering up a lot of the other styling cues. Out back we see ever more influence of the S-class coupe. The slimmer tail lights were already seen on the GLE coupe, and it appears now on the E-class wagon.

Now on to the dirt. Perhaps a part of its testing was light off-roading? We can only assume that’s the case, given that it looks like it just went through a course designed for the Unimog.
