that is true if you let up on the gas while shifting......leave the gas pedal down, it snaps in gear quickly. That is my experience anyway.

Haha this is how every car is, allows for someone behind you to make a differentiation between the two tail lamps and thus easier to notice.

C350 4matic coupe
I definitely would like more power out of my car (C350 4matic). I think 350 would be a good number and it sounds like the Kleemann tune plus exhaust work could get you close. Mercedes should have an intermediate between the 350 and 63 AMG since that's such a huge leap.

Not a hate, but a nice to have would be able to use the speedometer display for Nav (moving map, not just arrows) or something along those lines. It's a full color display and I feel like it's being under utilized.

They do have them, they're called the CDI diesel models but unfortunately some markets don't sell them...

A C350-CDI would answer all your power needs and if you added a simple tuning box, it would have a lot more torque than even a tuned C63 and also use half the fuel of the petrol C350 to boot

Ha, of course. I'll fully admit my ignorance with diesels, but I've always thought that they weren't "quick." Fast, yes, but not necessarily quick. Either way, I have the 350 and want more power.

I don't get it, all this smash on this car and the biggest points aren't addressed. For a 80k car they put a piece of **** diffuser on it. They could make it look a little aggressive. Second they should have an option for a leather dash for the car

That's fair enough, it's easy to overlook non available or non existing models

Don't be fooled though with the performance of the latest generation of oilers, the 3.0ltr V6 twin turbo C350-CDI does 0-100km/h (0-62mp/h) in 6.0secs flat, that's only a fraction behind the RWD C350 petrol, with a tuning box it can hit low 5's easily and it's quicker than equivalant petrols in rolling acceleration, being a V6 and unlike the IL4 oilers it also emits a nice exhaust note, so you end up with both quick and fast, economical and nice sounding - best of all Worlds

Another major benifit in the the case of the AWD or 4matic C350 is if it had the oiler powerplant it would totally benifit from the massive torque output to help overcome the extra weight and power loss of the AWD system...

C350 4matic coupe
I was reading a lot about the new 4matic in the C350 coupe and it sounds like there's very little drivetrain loss and weight gain. The fuel economy is rated the same as the non-4matic and the 0-60 is nearly the same. Still, I want more power.

It is a shame though that diesels haven't caught on stateside as much as Europe.

The Australian market was also the same until recently they've started bringing in more and more diesel powered motor cars

It's a good thing though, because it's only the latest generation of oilers that are really starting to shine, the earlier ones were economical 'stump pullers' and that's about it, at least now they also offer more than respectable and smooth performance

Back on topic I have to say the only thing I hate about mine is the purchase cost (although that's not the cars fault) just being reminded of it from posts above LOL, here in Aust. and some other markets we get ripped off BIG time for luxury imported cars, a fully loaded C250-CDI like mine costs over 100k here

So all you U.S folk can stop whinging and complaining about their costs LOL 30k or 40k here will get you a typical Toyota or Mazda sedan LOL

2.non electrical(manual folding )front seats doesnt have lumbar adjustment (my back aches when driving)
3.rear brake lights are not led(i think mb saved money!!!)
4.foot brake(i mean hand brake at foot) .İ know its a kind of classic for mb but i rather like to have electronic automatic one.

I would have preferred for the handbrake to be on the left next to the gearshifter so I could drift like the man in the commercial haha

I have the brushed aluminum trim and I dont like that it feels like a piece of brushed aluminum colored plastic.

I'm comparing it to the brushed aluminum that BMW offers where it actually feels like a piece of rough aluminum.

That's surprising, I got my garage door opener set, but there was something that i was doing incorrectly initially, and once I got it right it worked without any issues.

I struggled also and had to do two things. Here are some hints, but if they don't work call the garage door manufacturer and they will help. Im my case my Genie unit has a memory that was full. I had to dump all of the codes to make room, which meant redoing all three cars. The second thing was I had the car running. For some reason that helped. Good luck!

When driving and I have the windows down, I get a really loud whistling sound from my seatbelt right where it attaches to the door. Has anyone else noticed this? Pretty irritating.

WTF is up with the paddle shifters... Are they a joke? These things do not shift. Start in first gear get up 5500 shift twice which should put me into third gear and this thing red lines...There should clearly be a significant drop in RPM's but it never drops. I feel like they are more for aesthetics thn actual practical use.... Please share your experiences. I just got this car two days ago.

I agree. They are for show. They will down shift and up shift but only when they want to.
