W202 idle on crusing

W202 idle on crusing

Hello! My W202 as developed a strange thing: let's say i'm driving on 4 gear (manual) and put on N the idle gets to 1000 rpms and then runs up to 1550 and stay there till i put a gear or after ~2 minutes of idle...

Hello! another thing: yesterday i disconnect the baterry for 30 minutes. Go for a drive and the car run run normally. Today put it to work and the problem came back!!!

Hello! I went to a dealer and came with a lambda sensor problem. Buy a Bosch unit anda the problem is still there!!!

I don't think the lambda or O2 sensor would affect the idling speed. Maybe you should check or clean the MAF sensor or the idle control valve. Just thinking out loud...

Hello! I did a little experience: change the MAF. The idle problem is solved! But NOW i have a new problem: when the car is in N and do a hard accelaration the engine look like a boxer one. If i do a gentel accelaration the engine revs normally...
PS: I miss my JAP'S...

You may want to take out the throttle body and clean the paddle with carburetor clean. Sometimes the paddle gets sticky due to oil or gunk depsit.

News: i went to a Bosch dealer and came out with 6 erros. The guy didnt new that my car is running on LPG. At first he said that i had a leak on the intake manifold or anything related... Then i said that the car is running on LPG he said that i had a problem with the spark plugs. Recomend to change to a set of Bosch LPG...

Hello! As my car is running on LPG i went to the guy that install the sytem. Explain the problem of the car and he connect the laptop to the car. Go for a drive a the result was a very poor calibration on the injeccion (40% less than normal). Run the car for aroud 100 km abd so far is normall (idle inc.)
