k-sport coilovers with a blown rear shock. should i get k-sport replacement or...
can i use koni/bilstein as a replacement? since the coilover kit was designed with the k-sport shock it would be best to stick with the k-sport shocks, right?

I drive a Toyota Hybrid...
best stick with K-sport, if you go with other you are like running a dead battery with 3 other good batteries together
btw, how did you kill it?

i'm bought the coilovers used, but also didn't check the stiffness setting before test driving after installation. either it was blown when i got them or it was due to that shock being beyond the lowest stiffness setting.

2005 C200K Sports Obsidian Black on Black
I have a C200 Sports Pack and the sports pack lowers the car from the standard ride height by 15mm and includes uprated shocks and sway bar. The C55 is another 10-12mm lower and this is the ride hight I would like to set my car at without changing to coilovers.
Thanks for your help

Something Slow
i dont think it will work the C55 has a Heavier engine than the C32 and the C55 suspension may have a different Spring Rate and that just might make your car sit higher even a more 4x4 look! so coilovers or H&R cupkit might be the better thing to do! but hey try and see and lets us know if its doable!

Just had my '04 C200K lowered on H&R coilovers but unable to slam the front due to front wheel offset problems... (think I require about a 10mm spacer but the wheel is probably gonna stick out past the fender)
Wheels:
19x8.5J ET35 235/35 Yokohama AVS F
19x9.5J ET40 265/30 Yokohama AVS R
Just need to get rid of that nasty front wheel gap...
All comments and assistance will be appreciated

Have you found anywhere in South Africa that has replica mags like any of the below? I prefer the plain rim without pseudo split

Thanks for the response guys... will teach me not to do my homework before just going ahead and buying rims cause they look neat... I really like them but looks like I'm gonna have to try and find another set of 19" wheels with a better front offset... will have to do my homework cause looks like most of the 19x8.5j wheels here for the front has an offset of 35...
Either that or i just wasted lots of money on a set of coilovers that can't be slammed in front and useless I got 5mm spacers cause seem like they are non hubcentric and cause vibrations...
Glyn... I will see what I can find cause looks like me gonna be looking for another set of wheels soon... wife's gonna kill me cause she told me I should not have sold the Brabus replicas. Will let you know if I find any...
Think I may have seen an original set of 17's for R14k

I've got stock C320 Coupe shocks for sale.
Well, they've been in my attic for 4 years anyway.
I'm driving up to San Francisco for STAR-FEST end of September.
Make me an offer, and I'll throw them in the back of the Coupe on my way up there.

...a panty dropper...
So in order to make the air ride kit to work, on top of buying 2 sets of the airstruts, I would have to purchase the compressor, tank, air tubing, and air controller? So in the long run buying all that stuff on top of this would be costly. If your going to go with this go with the complete kit which can also be found on that site. http://airbagit.com/product_info.php...oducts_id=3816

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
Looks like a good way to turn a nice sport or luxury sedan into a motorized sofa.
Anyone with a Citroen will know the feeling, those cars sort of leap about.

useless from a performance standpoint, but that's not what they market it as. it would be good for a show car/NOPI car or something of the sort though. if you get a good compressor and valves- it's like hydraulics w/o the mess and extra batteries. a friend of mine has air ride on their 4 door dually. it still tows their tandem axle enclosed car hauler really well.
