Tinting is always the first thing I do to my cars and its essential if you tend to park outside in the sun often. The best things about a good tint job is:
1. Privacy
2. Protects interior from UV
3. And as my sister always says "it looks smexy "

SIF! I did it again... 3RD time lucky. The first two times I was trying to think "Which ones did they use to decide on the Benz" the 3RD time I just chose what I would be most likely to do

Yes, you should tint it. I have a silver C320 sedan and did 35% all around except windshield, message me for pics if you still need help deciding.

No, the answer is it wouldn't come off. The glass comes from the factory tinted and the dark tint you see if aftermarket tint applied directly onto the glass. The factory tint is not something that can peel off.

Tint it and get moleskin because it will most likely scratch if you don't.

To thing or not to tint? - That is the question. In fact, the same question I asked myself.

I still haven't decided, my color is Pewter, and though I've seen some tinted, I'm not sure whether I'd like to do that. So for now, not tinted and staying that way. For silver I wouldn't tint either... I think it looks good the darker the color (except white, because of the negative contrast).

Somehow it always looks good on an S-Class. Perhaps cause I'm used to seeing those corporate S-Classes in Manhattan that always have tinted windows and not so used to seeing C-Classes with tints... hmm... or maybe cause the S-Class just looks so nice you don't even realize...

Tint that I have on all 4 sides are 50%, rear at 35%, and all 4 sides with moleskins. With a black interior, it actually makes it appear darker. If you're near the area, you're welcome to take a look at it. I also live in Northern California(San Ramon, Dublin/Pleasanton area). Pictures often don't do justice.
In the past, I've had 35% on my other car and have been pulled over for a fix-it ticket. I'm sure you're aware of California laws regarding tint.

Another vote for tint it.

I took mine to the tint shop the day after purchase....20% all the way around. Honestly, I wish I could've gone darker, but 35% is the law and I've been down the 5% tint road with other cars and the cops...no fun.

"Double Stuff" SOLD | Nor*Cals "Pesky Audi"
just to clarify:
the "blue tint" is not an actual tint or film. Its a gas locked into the glass while being formed.

also, dont forget to have felt or moleskin installed with the tint or you'll have some scratches on your tint lookin like you got in a fight with wolverine

rawr!

www.automoleskin.com. A member here sells it i think. If you want you can just buy some felt and cut it out to fit the door seals. Me and ct230k (i think thats the sn i'm not sure), anyway there is a thread in which i show how do remove the door panels in order to get to these seals. I show how to do it on my 02 320 with pics and he has some pics of how it's done on the 05+ models although there is not much of a difference.

Oh yea, i see your in Florida. If you get stuck i can probably help you out with it if you close to my area.
