How many miles or kms have you clocked your W203 ?

The back side of 108 is a kick, it's like a roller coaster, but in your car and
on a road. Up, down, sideways, crazy!

btw, I had a 1/4 tank left...
And I must further mention not to try this without having this:

Cheers
I tried to drive as vigorously as possible from Santa Barbara to Newport Beach as I could. When I returned to Newport Beach, the computer displayed:
After start
150mi
2:16h
66 Mph
31.3 mpg
I do have a few things to say in my defense, I was on several miles of local roads in Santa Barbara before I could open up the throttle on the highway, this was in the evening (I started around 8PM), there was some traffic, I took an exit and had a pit stop to inspect my tires (engine was still running), and I kept the engine running for about five minutes after I had arrived in Newport Beach (to allow temperatures to stabilize) before I recorded the stats.
Say with the pit stop and the engine temperature stabilization took 7 minutes. I'd probably have averaged around 69.77 mph (150 miles divided by 2 hours 9 minutes).
Once again, it is definately not easy to average 75 mph. A tremendous achievement by Flip. IT'S NOT EASY!
Lastly, I don't employ a radar detector.
Installing a 12 bolt rear, lowering springs, multitude of suspension work, new clutch, and then I break 3rd and 4th gear out of my 6 speed.
heheOnce my transmission gets rebuilt and my Z gets off the lift, the Benz goes on for the half shaft leaky seal replacement.
I wondered how close you were to me now. I will instruct my wife to start taking the scenic route to and from work.
still good to go.
few little electronic issues and 1 big "visit workshop".
engine still great and will be stronger soon!
