How many miles or kms have you clocked your W203 ?

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Unless you are going to the dealer. In which case, I'm sure they've found lots of stuff to replace. 3.2L is a good engine, but the 16 plugs, wires and coil packs, ug. Still you should still be on the original plugs and coil packs.
Wires are probably gone by now though.

now everyone 6*2=... 12

My car is now at 181,000 Miles and is running beautify as usual.

1) my warranty runs out (200k)
2) the car is totaled.
It's my first Merc and my 10th car. Sentimental value = priceless.
Future purchases are:
1) 2012 E 550 4MATIC (Daily Grinder/C class replacement)
2) Lamborghini Gallardo (Weekender)
3) W123/124 E class Sedan/Estate (project car/track-star)
When the original thread was posted it wasn't clear what "next purchase " referred to, so I imagined it as a daily commuter/grocery-grabber.

I have a Toyota Avalon 04 and that baby has over 270k miles on it and I have NEVER had a problem with it (knock on wood), passing that one to my 16 year old.
Hoping to keep my C230k for as many miles as I kept the Avalon..not sure what I want next. Still enjoying the one I have now :-)

.

That's the youngest stretched timing chain I've heard of and that's about the age of my car!
