Naw, that'd just be greedy. I use the C320 as my winter car / pickup truck / dogs to the vet car. My other cars are the hot rods (blown Mustang and tuned C63).Originally Posted by C230 Sport Coup

Leaving for the OBX tonight, I'm right at 156,900. So I should be over 158 by the time I get back in a week and a half. Feeling better about the drive, since I finally got a tire mounted to my full-size spare yesterday.

Yes, so that I can record a 7-hour trip in a coupe filled to the gills going 7-8 miles over the posted speed limit on Rte. 13 to the Bay-Bridge Tunnel. Originally Posted by MBfinatic

I'll just be happy to not fall asleep on the way down.

44K miles, you shouldn't need much more than oil changes.Originally Posted by Ribo89

Unless you are going to the dealer. In which case, I'm sure they've found lots of stuff to replace. 3.2L is a good engine, but the 16 plugs, wires and coil packs, ug. Still you should still be on the original plugs and coil packs.
Wires are probably gone by now though.

371,532 km and counting. Bought it in 2005 and have loved it ever since. It's currently bone stock, has a bit of rust that needs fixing but all in all it's been not perfect but very dependable. Now it's time to give it some much needed love and turn it into a summer toy. Planning on a supercharger rebuild/replacement, CLS 18 inch rims, pulley, coilovers, c32 brakes and so on and so on. Let the fun begin!

Just rolled 180k miles on the Coupe. Other than needing to replace a sunroof motor eventually, doing great.

72k. Stretched cam chain. 8 new inlet valves. Top end re-done. Now a worn crankshaft No4 big end.
Oh, and my Ducati snapped a timing belt.

Funny this post is still hot years later...I'm at 89,000miles Today, only 3000 are mine. '03 C240 4MATIC. Runs smooth and will keep it until:
1) my warranty runs out (200k)
2) the car is totaled.
It's my first Merc and my 10th car. Sentimental value = priceless.
Future purchases are:
1) 2012 E 550 4MATIC (Daily Grinder/C class replacement)
2) Lamborghini Gallardo (Weekender)
3) W123/124 E class Sedan/Estate (project car/track-star)
When the original thread was posted it wasn't clear what "next purchase " referred to, so I imagined it as a daily commuter/grocery-grabber.

I'm at around 116,xxx miles in my 05. The car I had previous to this was a 99 A4 with 250,xxx miles so I'm less anxious about **** breaking down. Plus the dealer I bought the car from has a warranty for 24,000 or 24 months

That's the youngest stretched timing chain I've heard of and that's about the age of my car!
How hard do you drive it??

2004 c230K I'm at 87k and the last 7k miles are mine. I just got it in October of this year (I drive around 600 miles a week) and was a little skeptical when I was reading the posts in this forums about the maintenance and problems. So far I've had no problems, but it might be too soon to tell. Taking it in for Service B this weekend.
I have a Toyota Avalon 04 and that baby has over 270k miles on it and I have NEVER had a problem with it (knock on wood), passing that one to my 16 year old.
Hoping to keep my C230k for as many miles as I kept the Avalon..not sure what I want next. Still enjoying the one I have now :-)
