DIY Changing Fog lamp Bulbs & W203/CL203 Fog Lamp Thread
Try not to drive on 'rocky' roads.
The MB dealer is going to be about 2 - 3 X of what you can D-I-Y, typically. You sort of have to assume that they are going to be $$$$ for repair & maintenance when you buy the car (?)

Unfortunately, there’s not a road in Texas that doesn’t have tons of debris flying around on it and the freeways down here are worse than rural roads. One of the prices that many Texans are paying for free trade with Mexico is a rapid deterioration of our roads, caused by increased foreign commercial traffic. Meanwhile, Texas DoT recently announced that most roadway construction/repair projects are going to be stopped indefinitely, due to lack of funds. Where, oh where, are all of those gas tax windfall revenues going? But I digress. Anyway, I don’t have a problem changing out the lamp myself. Do you have a website, or phone number for Autohaus? Quite a few sites came up when I searched the Internet for “Autohaus.”
As for 400 dollars to replace one fog light - thats ridiculous. Just buy it and install it yourself... wont take more than an hour even if you've never done it before and shouldn't cost you more than 100 bux for the fog light.
I'll suggest hitting up stickercity also and buying their protective light films also. The fog light lenses are completely horizontal unlike the windshield, thus gettin hit by a rock isnt much of a deflection, but more like completely eating the rock.
Try this. $18 for the lens

When you order the part, you put in the vin number of your car so they will verify the part. I have never had a problem with them. I too thought the lens looked wrong and even when I had it in my hand, I wasn't sure. It fit perfect.
