C240 shocks suck!
Anyone notice this besides me? It's extremely bouncy over bumps. I wouldn't have expected this from a Mercedes. It's not just my vehicle.. my friend has a new C230 sedan rental that has the same experience.

Its a merc. What did you expect?
not a "luxury sports sedan" They're not known for any engineered high precision performance suspension systems. ...Yet it is still a nice ride and very nice clearance i might add.

Dunno, I would expect less bounciness from a Benz. My old Mitsu galant has a more comfy ride than this thing. It has nothing to do with sports suspension. I just want a COMFORTABLE suspension that doesn't bounce me everywhere.
And it's too late to buy lexus. I'm stuck w/ this C240 now.
And by the way, my friend has had Benz's all his life, and said the C class was the first that he's seen this problem with.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
I feel that the C class has one of the better engineered suspension systems in the size segment. That said there is room for improvement. I have always been pleased with Bilstein shocks. I have them on my tow vehicle, "The Vantique", my race car, and my wagon. I don't spend money foolishly, so resisted the urge to put them on my wife's Toyota. Rice is still rice, no matter how you dress it.
