Hey Zion... which 6000k hid kit do you have? If this is what the Carlabs
6000k HIDs look like then I don't know if I want 6000k from Darwin... gotta call him and change it.
Hey MRK... do the lights get whiter over time??? I just put these in and they look horrible. Like the cheap Autozone dark blue ones.

i read in some other posts that people were matching up the 6000k with the 5500k tera led bulbs, but from other peoples responses say that 5500k was a bit bluer than the 6000k so i wonder if they match with 8000k more? or the 6500k will?

Good 6000k LED City lights to match HID
Hello, I recently upgraded my stock halogen setup to MTEC HID 6000k. Love the light output, very white with the slightest blue tint. However, the city and fog lights look very well...yellow in comparison. Im not worried about the fog since ill prob never have them on in Sunny San Diego (and fogs are supposed to be yellow output for best illumination), but I would like the stock city lights changed to something that will match the 6000k. I have looked around and searched the forum for any good 6000k led bulbs for the city lights but haven't really come up with anything. Any suggestions? Or could someone point me in the right direction? Much appreciated, thanks!

HID fog helps a lot for lighting at night, i'd suggest everyone doing HID fog, I've been most satisfy with my HID foglight mod, and i won't drive without them at night =)

I hear you...
I also upgraded my lights to 6000K HID, but I did the foggies and the headlamps. I love it. But those pissy little lights really blow me. It doesn't look bad because my HIDs drown them out but I would also like to know what replacement people are using.
Also, it's not about functional use for fog lights it's about looks (in my opinion). HIDs look great, but it looks even better with matching HID fog lights! Get some man!
I'll try to take pics.

And to answer your other question, for ANY LED's you use for this car, you will need resistors. And usually, it can't be just any resistor. It has to be as close as possible to match the load. The wires are pre-determined on how much load is being delivered to the bulbs. LED's draw Much less load than normal incandescent bulbs (especially for the 194 bulbs on this car).
