Can you post Part #s? Also, anyone know if these aero arms are the same for Coupe and Sedan?

How's the noise on them? If they'll get rid of the awful rubbing sound during light rain, I'm gonna do this mod.

They are pressed against the glass more evenly than the "old" style ones. They do wipe better as a result and do not streak. They also have a lower profile (thus "aero", I guess).

i thought the same at first but when my friend got a new jetta it came equiped with aero wipers. i thought no big deal and when it was winter time his wipers didnt ice up and if it did the ice breaks off very easily while mine were always stuck on the windshield... i would def recommend this mod to ppl living in colder areas. the wipers are also better because it hold closer to the windshield.

Installed the aero wipers on my 2003, WOW

What a difference, 35 bux used on ebay. Wipes so clean now, and very quiet. Took a few adjustments so the wipers wouldn't hit each other but now it looks like it should be good.

I suggest this upgrade for anyone with an older W203, there is a set on ebay now for like 40 bux. Beats the dealer cost!

waveykat, how did you know it was lined up and tightened correctly? It seems like the wiper blades come off very easily, all you do is slide that plastic clip... doesn't seem to grip in or anything.

before i replaced the arms i marked the position where the old arms was, then i replace it with the new ones and tighten but i had to bend the arms alittle so that the blades sit flat on the glass. the plastic clip that holds the blade in place do feels loose but it holds i will take some pics later.!

Can someone in Canada/US please post the COUPE wiper arm #s? Dealers in Canada don't like giving out Part #s.

Thanks

Thanks waveykat, i did mark the positions. I would hear a little click at first from the drivers wiper hitting the other one when it would swing down but now its all good after I adjusted it. No bending was needed. I went to the dealer to look at an 06 c-class and mine sit and look identical. The plastic clip felt slightly tighter on the 06 but not by much.

No. Icon's are just the blade. The OP is talking about replacing the wiper arm and blade.

OEM W203 Aero Wiper Part #s.

Okay, for those of you that are curious, I called the parts dept and did some homework. USA dealers are awesome; Canadian dealers do NOT give out part #s! This is obviously for LHD vehicles.

A 203 820 27 44 Aero Wiper Arm L - Coupe
A 203 820 32 44 Aero Wiper Arm R - Coupe
A 203 820 38 44 Aero Wiper Arm L - Sedan
A 203 820 31 44 Aero Wiper Arm R - Sedan
A 203 820 15 45 Aero Wiper Blade - same for both Coupe and Sedan, you need 2 (L and R need the same 22" length, which is different from the non-aero 24" driver and 22" passenger)
A 203 824 07 49 Aero Wiper Cap

Aero Wipers Installed

Light rain today, installed them and tried them out. No pics as I installed them at 1am

Aero Wiper arm part #s are the SAME for all W203 C-class (coupe, sedan, wagon). Only difference is that the sedan and wagon require 22" blades on both sides, while the coupe uses 24" on driver's side and 22" on passenger, for the non aero

Since the blades I picked up came off a wrecked sedan and I drive a coupe, I decided to just keep the 22" blades that came with the arms for now. To be honest the shorter length works fine as well.

C = Sedan
CL = Coupe
W = Wagon

Taken right off the wipers themselves:
L Arm A203-820-25-44/27-44
L Cap A203-824-05-49
R Arm C/CL A203-820-30-44/32-44/31-44 W 29-44
R Cap A203 824 07 49

The trick is to get the driver's arm installed so that it doesn't hit the passenger's blade in the "bottom" position (I left a 2cm gap for safety) and also not to hit the driver's side windshield trim at the "top" position. Took a bit of unbolting/wiggling/bolting but after 4 tries, I'm satisfied.

They are not completely silent (still the occasional squeak) but about 75% of it is gone compared to the old wipers. That alone made it worth the $.

Highly recommended. Makes the car look more expensive too (I'd say bi-xenon is #1, aero wipers are #2).
