How does it compare to these kits that supply a "digital harness" to bypass issue with MB and some other cars? I was thinking of using them for my kid's SLK and they also have bixenons for H4 cars like my wife's Jeep and my motorbike.

All I can tell you is that I installed the Carlab kit and I had to get the Xenon=Present option turned on at my dealer to make them work. Personally for $119, I would try the ebay guy next, he has a high feedback rating and specifically addresses the MB issue (Carlab did also when I bought mine but it didn't work).

I was pretty disappointed that the CarLab V2 kit has so many flicker issues. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew that it had that problem. It says that it is gone in V3, but who knows. Last time I asked about the flicker CarLab deleted the tread.

MTEC HID kit
I would like to thank oauterleague (is this how you spell it?) for ALL HIS EFFORTS in helping me with my annoying questions
The MTEC kit is pretty good, I finally got it installed, and thanks a lot to Dion for his willingness to help me, but I really wanted to install it on my own
But I really like the kit, it does not have computer error message. and it looks good.
But anyway, I got the 8000K one, which is pretty blue. I like it =D, install was not hard, but ANNOYING... finding places to mount the ballast.
Here are 2 pics
And that concludes my first mod on the 2007 C280
