Resistors not built-in, I left the original 194 wedge bulbs wired up. Tapped into the wiring and hooked them up. No computer errors.
I may swap the lighting to see how it looks with the 6000k on the outside, pretty easy to do.
Let me see if I understand your wiring schematic correctly
- You left the 194 wedge bulbs in, covered them up with electrical tape (I'm assuming) and used those wires to power the outside fogs
- Inside fogs, you wired directly (or tapped in new connectors) from the OEM foglights.
Questions I have:
1) Do the outside fogs come on when you just have the parking lights on?
- In other words, are the outside fogs actually acting as your parking lights now.
2) (If the inside fogs are wired with the OEM foglight wires) When you have your lights set to auto and you're first exiting the car, do all 4 foglights stay on along with the parking lights? (i.e. convenience lighting)
I want to be ready for the pre-wire after everything has been completed, so I'm gathering up all possibilties. Thanks in advance for any input.

Yes the fogs come on when it's dark and I unlock my car. (convenience lighting) Not when it's bright outside though...
And yes, the bumper lights wiring is going to the LED fogs so those come anytime any lighting is activated.
I do have city light LEDs now. I'll post pics tonight!

I think I may end up following in your footsteps because it'll be much easier to wire that way vs. the other way I was thinking of. Plus, for the convenience lighting, I think the quad fogs and parking lights lit up, would look awesome (like you have in one of your pics) for the convenience lighting. What I really like about the way you wired it is if I want, I can always keep the car in AUTO and know that one set of foglights are on all the time and if I really wanted, I could turn on the quad fogs by just turning the OEM switch.
I'm somewhat sad to lose the sidemarkers, but at the same time...it's worth it cuz of the quad fogs.
