I got my mirrors from Steve. Just got them back this morning from the paint booth and installed them. I got E class Folding mirrors/memory and also with the Euro Mirror which eliminates the blind spot. The outer part of the mirrors is bend slightly outwards. This eliminates the blind spot. Very nice mirrors. These mirrors also have the puddle light on the bottom but these are not hooked up as of now. I will do that later. I will post pictures later on.
So what are the part number required and how much time to install ??

Don't reallly care for the return on investment as long as I get to use it. Also, don't have part number on hand but I doubt you will be able order them through the local dealer.

Real Nice mod list man! I like how the new button for the folding mirrors doesnt look obtrusive. GREAT JOB! What do you mean by bottom spot light on your folding mirrors though?

THese mirrors are the E class mirrors and they have a spot light on the bottom so when you open the door, the light turns on to see the road. ( puddle light)

Electric Folding Mirrors done...
Finally got the mirrors on...wow, so worth the money. The fold in about 10 seconds...they look so cool.

Yes, I was driving around all day folding and opening them while I drive...while making hydrolic sounds with my mouth and thinking I am in Star Wars...and yes, before you ask, I must be gay...

I'll have pics and videos posted tomorrow when I can get someone to sit in the car while I take pics.

Install time was about 2 hours...
Thank you Steve for the parts, your great to work with!

I am having my dealer look into the DAS to see if they can activate the menu that will close them automatically when I shut the car...

congrats on the mirrors. I have them as well from Steve. They work great. I need to get the auto feature activated with DAS so they will AUTO-Fold when car is switched off.

I thought the auto-folding was something available on Euro cars from the facelift only.

When you fold the mirrors doesn't it expose this hole? If I'm in a public parking spot I'd be worried about random idiots trying to mess with it out of curiosity.

the feature is a Euro feature but can be fitted on US cars easily. When the mirror is folded, there is no Hole exposed and no Wires exposed. Everything is hidden. All you see is a black rubber piece that is inside the hindge area.

That's what I meant. I've seen Mark's folding mirrors in person.

Can you manually push the mirror back into its unfolded position?

For some reason it doesn't look all that great closed...looks kind of cheap in fact.

But when put in motion it's to die for!

Yes, it's true...i've been opening them while moving and people's faces just drop...

I got it because I really needed it in NYC and in my garage...it's so perfect...I love them!

I found out that you can't close them at certain speeds. I haven't found the MPH threashold but at 80mph I couldn't close them
