Quick Question About Side Mirrors

I'm having problem with my 2003 c320 left hand side mirrors. When I switch the gear to REVERSE, both side mirrors will adjust automatically so that I can see the surface of the ground ya? However, only the rigth side of my mirrors perform this function. Mine is a Canada car, therefore the steer wheel is at the left. And also the rigth side mirrrors printed "OBJECTS IN THE MIRRORS ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR." but the left hand side mirror do not say that. I really need some tech. help because this is my first Mercedes Benz. Thank you so much.

It sounds like your memory function is not set properly. You will need to look at your manual and learn how to set it properly. Actually, only the one side should do it...you only need the right side to go down because usually you are reverse parking on that side.

C class will adjust only the right side mirror not the driver side.

NANA is correct. The tilt-down feature only works on the right-side mirror. The User's Manual reveals all.

Yup on the right. And also if it ever quits working, make sure the right side mirror button is pressed, or it wont work

It is not standard on coupes, you need the memory seat option.

And on the CLK (probably applies to C as well), you need to have the mirror set to the passenger position. The driver's position will disable it.
