I don't understand why we cannot just call up a Benz dealer in England, say, and order the Euro strips.
What is the disconnect between the US and Europe in getting their parts?

I went on Steve's site to try and find them but I guess I have to contact him and ask? How much are they now? I remember when I first joined here in 2004 they were like 180 painted and shipped, or somewhere around that price.

Steve at MBenzNL is the way to go.
I could buy them here in Stuttgart, Germany but with a 19% tax and shipping to US it only makes the price go higher.
I can avoid the 19% VAT and I can use US Post Office to mail from here, but I'd break a few rules, and I'm not in the business of competing with Steve, whose price would still be lower.

Ouch over 300 is a bit steep for me. Maybe I can just get them in Europe when I go this summer and bring them back with me. All I'd need is the color code, right?

You can get them just primed for paint unless you wanna get them already painted but there was a difference of over a 100 euros for me and got it painted myself for 50

What - between Parktronic & Distronic?
Parktronic is a Parking distance sensor system with visual indicators for back & front a danger beep
Distronic uses the same sensors to allow you to set the trailing distance between you & the car in front of you & the car will automatically drive itself & maintain that distance. All you do is aim!

Euro impact strips don't have your American orange side light in them. See pic of my car above.
