Stainless Steel Brakelines
I'm sure there are plenty of substitutions available besides the "specific" ones with the jacked up prices.

if you are looking at two products with two different quality standards, I would understand, but we are talking about re badging, volume of sales and capitalizing on brand loyalty here; any particular reason that a ss brakeline for chevrolet camaro is twice as cheap as the one for the C class, different molecular structure perhaps?

do you buy all your parts at MB Dealership and perform $225 oil changes for the "piece of mind"?

parts, I've gotten them from the dealer and other sources who have given me quite a bit of a discount. I absolutely refuse to buy any "parts" for my car at pepboys or napa with the exception of bulbs and tiny things. are you telling me that you'd buy an ABS pump from pepboys instead of getting an oem one?
as for the brakelines, I know that some of the cheaper ones are not teflon coated and when they rub on other components they tend to wear more easily.
