Got mine with 19" AMG OEM that is originally used by the E63, and i Recommend to use Michelin for the Tyre, the ones I'm using is the Super Sport, anyway it fits perfectly in place!!! and don't worry about the Ride, its smooth as silk.

hey guys! i just bought a 19x8.5front 19x9.5 rear with 45 offset for both of them..the guy that i bought it from said i will need a 10 mm spacer for the front wheels..is that true? i just wanna make sure that i got everything right before i put it on.. thx guys

10 mm is the very minimum if you're on OEM suspension, I would recommend a 15.

Hey guys, in need of some help here. I'm in afgahnistan right now so I don't have much time to research here and there about fitments and all that.

I'm looking into some adv10 dc wheels and already in the process of getting a price quote, I just need some details. So I plan on it being a wheel and tire package; 18x8.5 front, 18x10 rear(if its possible without any rubbing issue. My car is pretty low), and what tire specs should I be getting?

I'm never bought a set of wheels before so some little help would be very appreciated

You should check the offset and see if you will need spacers or not first before buying the wheels.

As far as tires, when I had my 18x8.5 and 18x9.5, I had 225/40 in the front and 255/35 in the rear and it fit just fine. The offset wasn't low enough in the front so I also had 10mm spacers up there. These tire sizes are pretty typical for these wheel sizes. I'm not an expert on what widths can go on what size wheels, but I think 255 is the narrowest you can fit on a 10" wide wheel, maybe even 265 (someone else please correct me if I'm wrong).

you're going to rub no matter what in the rear with 18x10 being lowered... I'm on 18x9 +15 front and 18x10+15 rear and I had to roll and pull like crazy to get them to fit. I'm on 225/40 front and 235/40 rear and still rub on highway dips and I have my coilovers set to 20 stiffness out of the 30. I'm about to go 215/40 front and 225/40 rear to get the issue fixed. YES its crazy stretched but thats the game if you want to be stanced/hella flushed.

to get it to fit you'll have to pull and roll the fender and grind down the rear bumper tab and the small quarter panel strip by the door. The sharp edge of the strip will eat up your sidewall if you dont.

Yea, i figured 10 would require some work.
Think I'll just go with 9.5rear. What about the offsets of the rim? Did your wheels look stretched? I'm kinda not going for that look.

Offsets for the fronts, I wouldn't go past +25, so +25-+32 range is what I would do, depending on if you have the bbk then you'll want to aim towards the lower offset. Rears is about the same but being that you're lowered and don't want to do any major pulling and rolling I'd do +28-+38.

I go with 18x8.5 +25?(You recommended not going past +25 but you also said you would go +25 to +35, bit confused on that) and 18x9.5+30?

and 225/40/18 fronts, 255/35/18 rears. Hope those are correct specs?

The closer to 0 offset the lower the offset. So the range from +25 to +35 offset is ideal for the front. So if you go with +35 it's actually higher, the wheels further in.

Fantastic thread, must be an internet record! I couldn't find this exact application so I'll throw it on the list:

Can 2005 C230 Kompressor 5-spokes (17x7.5 ET36 and 17x8.5 ET30 with 245-45-17 and 245-40-17 respectively) fit on my 2005 C240 4Matic Wagon?

The wagon's original 7-spokesare 16x7 ET31 with 205-55-16. The wheel calculator at 1010tires says I'll have 11mm less inside on the front and 18mm less on the back. Trouble is, I don't know if that is too much?

Any help would be appreciated!

You can only fit up to 235 up front. You can do 235/40 and 245/40 rear but with most 4 wheel drive cars they usually do all the same wheel and tire size

Can I get away with running an 18x9.5 wheel with an Offset of ET35 in both the Front and Rear of a W203 Sedan?

I wanted to run a minor stretched tire all the way around on a set of concaved MB512's (Rep. E55 CLS Wheels) and stance them flush with the fenders.
Any suggestions?

You're gonna be getting tire contact on the strut/spring with it that wide on that offset. I'm pushing 9" in front and have little space between wheel and spring and I have +15. Granted I'm really low but you're gonna have contact non the less.
