Has anyone done a wide body kit on a W203 to fit 10-12" on the rears?

Looks like 4-5 cm from the inside of the tire to the end of the wheel well and about 2.5 cm from the outside of the tire to the fender.

I just realized these wheels I'm looking at are also available in 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 9.5 with the same offsets. Can I get those to fit? What size tire should I go with if I go that route? These wheels are the only mod I will ever do to the car (don't plan to lower it, grind anything, roll anything etc.)

Capn - you have almost the exact look I'm aiming for (looking at AMG replicas). What are the offsets on your wheels and did you need any spacers?

You can run 10" in the rear without any problems already. All the carlsson 19' are 10" in the rear with et35. 11-12" you will need to pull the fender out. All the wide body you see are custom and most of them does not increase the inner fender width.

Ok, new plan. Can someone please tell me if these will fit without spacers. If not, what size spacers will I need.

Fronts:

19 x 8.5, 35mm offset, 245/35/19

Rears:

19 X 9.5, 35mm offset, 265/35/19

Sorry, I know all this is probably covered in the thread but I'm new to offsets and spacers and want to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing before I start spending $

What is the width of your existing tires. Whatever it is, for example if its 205mm which is what my stock ones were and you add 5 cm that will make them 255 max...

Can't run 245 up front, your struts will eat into them. Max is 235.

Offsets are fine depending on wheel design and if you have the larger calipers it might not work.

You can do 265 in rear but you'll need to roll and pull the fenders and grind the tabs down so they won't rub

I just put 8.5" and 9.5" ET 35 on my Coupe, sports suspension and brakes.

Fronts cleared caliper ok, but needed 5mm spacers to clear the strut, the rims only had about 2-3mm clearance on their own, with no tyre fitted, it was highly likely that it would rub with tyres.
This meant only 225 on the front, because the 5mm spacers already decreased the clearance to the front and back in the wheel well when on full lock, an additional 5mm from 235's would likely have rubbed.

Up the back i went 255 and seem ok, i had one patch rub on one side only (and that side sits about 3/4 lower for some reason) and it rubbed on the felt inner wheel arch thingy, at the point where the arches change into the bumper - however, the felt inner thing was unhooked from the arches (arches already rolled as stock) - i've clipped it back over the rlled edge now, and it hasn't jumped back off that i know of, so assume ok - 265's would be pushing it at the rear

Great info, thanks all. Going with 225/35/19 up front and 255/35/19 in the rear. I'm buying 5mm spacers as well, I have the sport sedan and the caliper looks huge to me.

you should have about 3mm more clearance than i did, given that yours are ET32 putting 5mm spacers on will push out the fronts 3mm wider ...... here's mine at the front now

and the rear end .....

the front pictures dont show just how close to sticking out past the arches the wheels/tyres are, i will have to get some front shots done some time so it can be seen, on a plus point, it does improve handling/cornering, it feels sharper/more responsive with the increased track

EDIT
Just re-read your post, check the rear profile, not sure if yours was the same setup as mine, but for mine the rears were lower profile, to allow for the greater width, remember that profile is a percentage figure calculated from the tyre width, mine on the rear were 255/30/18 the fronts were 225/35/18, and even stock showd the same split, 245/40/17 and 225/45/17

I had different profiles front/back on a Z06 and it drove me nuts, didn't like the different tire "heights" at all. So I'd like to stay consistent there. Should I look at trying to get 30 in both front and back?

Got my 19s on finally

Thanks to everyone here for all your help. Final setup 19 x 8.5 front, 19 x 9.5 rear. 225/35/19 front, 255/30/19 rear (Kumho Ecsta). Had to run a 5mm spacer on the front with shorter bolts both front and rear, 30 mm and 24 mm respectively.

Very pleased with the results!

Looking to get a set of Enkei's for the SS. 18x8.5 front 18x9.5 back with et35 all around. I want the wheels to sit flush with the fenders, so should I go for more offset? They also do the 8.5s in +42 and +45.

To go more flush you want to go closer to 0 so the +42 & +45 is going the opposite of what you want. +35 is going to be close since you have a SS which has the larger calipers. So they might not fit over the calipers still with the +35. You'll need at least a 8or 10mm spacer to clear depending on the wheel design. Some wheels with a +35 might be able to fit over the calipers and some won't. My 17" spare fits fine but my CCW need spacers. You'll just have to test them to see

CL203 Coupe
Hey guys, i am looking for some advice to see if these will fit ok.

My car is 2003 mercedes c class sports coupe (CL203), the car currently has the stock 'electra' wheels, 205/55/16 tyres & from what i have looked up the offset is ET37 16x7J.

I have bought some 18" alloys to put on, 225/40/18 tyres, offset is ET37 18x8JJ.

I would like to wheels to sit flush with the fenders, what spacers, bolts etc would i require?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The front will probably sit pretty flush, the back is where you're probably need atleast 20mm spacers
