W203/CL203 Aftermarket Wheel Thread - All you want to know
I just realized these wheels I'm looking at are also available in 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 9.5 with the same offsets. Can I get those to fit? What size tire should I go with if I go that route? These wheels are the only mod I will ever do to the car (don't plan to lower it, grind anything, roll anything etc.)
Fronts:
19 x 8.5, 35mm offset, 245/35/19
Rears:
19 X 9.5, 35mm offset, 265/35/19
Sorry, I know all this is probably covered in the thread but I'm new to offsets and spacers and want to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing before I start spending $

Offsets are fine depending on wheel design and if you have the larger calipers it might not work.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Fronts cleared caliper ok, but needed 5mm spacers to clear the strut, the rims only had about 2-3mm clearance on their own, with no tyre fitted, it was highly likely that it would rub with tyres.
This meant only 225 on the front, because the 5mm spacers already decreased the clearance to the front and back in the wheel well when on full lock, an additional 5mm from 235's would likely have rubbed.
Up the back i went 255 and seem ok, i had one patch rub on one side only (and that side sits about 3/4 lower for some reason) and it rubbed on the felt inner wheel arch thingy, at the point where the arches change into the bumper - however, the felt inner thing was unhooked from the arches (arches already rolled as stock) - i've clipped it back over the rlled edge now, and it hasn't jumped back off that i know of, so assume ok - 265's would be pushing it at the rear

and the rear end .....

the front pictures dont show just how close to sticking out past the arches the wheels/tyres are, i will have to get some front shots done some time so it can be seen, on a plus point, it does improve handling/cornering, it feels sharper/more responsive with the increased track
EDIT
Just re-read your post, check the rear profile, not sure if yours was the same setup as mine, but for mine the rears were lower profile, to allow for the greater width, remember that profile is a percentage figure calculated from the tyre width, mine on the rear were 255/30/18 the fronts were 225/35/18, and even stock showd the same split, 245/40/17 and 225/45/17

perfect flush fit
19x10.5et29 4.5 outer dish 6.5inch inner barrel ferfect flush fit
19x11 can fit no problem the only reason I didnt was bc I wanted a 4.5 or bigger dish....

Thanks to everyone here for all your help. Final setup 19 x 8.5 front, 19 x 9.5 rear. 225/35/19 front, 255/30/19 rear (Kumho Ecsta). Had to run a 5mm spacer on the front with shorter bolts both front and rear, 30 mm and 24 mm respectively.
Very pleased with the results!

My car is 2003 mercedes c class sports coupe (CL203), the car currently has the stock 'electra' wheels, 205/55/16 tyres & from what i have looked up the offset is ET37 16x7J.
I have bought some 18" alloys to put on, 225/40/18 tyres, offset is ET37 18x8JJ.
I would like to wheels to sit flush with the fenders, what spacers, bolts etc would i require?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
