C320 coupes in stock

Hi guys, gals,

Fresh off the truck! I was standing there with the digi-cam while they unloaded our first two C320 coupes. I can't see any difference except the engine (of course), the badging and the larger exhaust pipes. Leather and auto trans still options. Don't see any difference in body mouldings, bumpers etc. I geuss we'll call it a "sleeper". Here are some pics. I'll post again when I have a chance to drive one. Yes, they are both available.

Ahhh, so that's what the other intake opening is for.

So the cars don't come from the factory with wiper blades?

They ship them with the silly green pseudo blades and all of the plastic and foam "bumpers that you see.

GLB 250 4matic
are the hood ornaments added by the dealer also? and i can't tell very well, but it looks like the 320 doesn't have the 3.2 badge on the side like the 1.8l sportcoupes.

thanks for the pics.

I think it is more likely that some C320 owners will be debadging their cars, and a few will swap the 3 and the 2 and add a kompressor badge.

You're welcome young

Yes the cars always come in with the "stars" in the trunk.
No badges on the side of the 320 coupes.

C230 Sports Coupe
will the added weight of the v6 cancel out the 23 extra hp? The coupe was already nose heavy. this will only make it worse unless they stiffened the suspension.

Bring your 320 Coupe in, and in two day's you'll have a 330 HP rocket. Add springs, shocks, swaybars and a set of KLEEMANN wheels, and you'll be ready for some serious fun!!

frankly im surprised they didnt come with sportier-looking rims.. but i guess that's what the C7 package is for

the elegance rims on the sedan look better than the twinspoke 16s IMO

Let's see, A coupe and a sedan are the same chassis, only the Coupe has less sheet Metal, and two less doors. It is slightly lighter than the sedan, and, will most likely have a shorter rear end, so I would estimate the C230 Coupe will be faster than the sedan.

I assume you mean quicker (as in 0-60), since it appears that the C320Coupe comes with the same tire/wheel combo as the C230K it will be electronically limited to the same top speed, 130 mph.
It's acceleration will probably be a tenth or two quicker to 60 due to it's lighter weight.

Yes, Acceleration times will be slightly faster. top speed (132) will be the same.
