My first speeding ticket
Damn, Never thought i would get one but i got one. Stupid *** bike cop chillin in some brush on the side of the road! And forgetting to have my drivers License didn't help much either. And my girlfriend has to say shes late for work and to hurry up! 
I gave the cop my info because i didn't have my DL and he said there is no DL for my name i was like WTF...BULLLLL CRAP!!! stupid cops mark me 81 in a 55 hes like just because im feeling good ill mark 79 just so you can go to traffic school.
=/ STUPID TICKET!!!!

O well i blame my girlfriend because she was late for work

Dammit i fail!!!!!... my girlfriend was late for work but she got to make me a smoothie.. what pissed me off are the ppl driving by laughing.. Oh well you live and you learn.
Just sucks i was going on a down hill picking up speed thought it would be cool to get more speed before the up hill..
But the ticket is gonna be around 300 dollars =/

Why is the cop stupid? He did you a huge favor. 26 miles over the limit? You think he is the stupid one!

I blame the weight of the car.. Going on a down hill created some force which increased my speed. LOL wow peeps Its my first ticket wanted to post calm down to bad they never clocked me at 1three0+ on the freeway

or you could blame faulty brakes....or the lack of engaging them going down hill. did he use laser? bikes out in 'zona use laser.

Haha, I'm glad you got it. You sound like a horrible driver after reading about your accident with the "faulty" brakes. I bet your parents are really happy with you right now.

WTF is this thread.. I was speeding and got caught, but its not my fault my Benz is heavy, or maybe the brakes failed again? But its not my fault the bike cop is stupid...
That's grade 9 reasoning, pay the ticket and next time leave earlier so you don't end up driving like an idiot, smoothie, girlfriend or not.

California requires traffic enforcement to be open and visible. The police cannot hide. They must also be using a marked vehicle and distinctive clothing, meaning a uniform.
You should never lie in Court or to government officials, but you can ask them to prove their case against you.
Get legal help if possible. Many motor officers will cite for a basic speed law violation, rather than exceeding the maximum speed limit. Your attorney can easily defend against basic speed law by careful questioning of the officer.
Prior to Court, you can have a trial by written declaration. Without telling a lie about your speed (don't even mention speed in your statement), you can ask that the officers testimony be excluded because he was hiding. If they find you guilty, you can ask for a new trial. If you wait as long as allowed to file all your paperwork it will be months before the trial is scheduled. The officer might not be interested in attending Court, and if he does not show, you win! Even if he shows, and you are found guilty, the judge can still allow traffic school. A good attorney is helpful here to persuade the judge that you are worthy.
Next, you need to curtail the speeding on the street. Please be considerate of other drivers and people on bikes and foot. Share the road, life will be less stressful. Come to the track if you want to press hard, go fast. Done right it is more fun than speeding.
