There will be some gaps since it is for W209 and it is not the same hole in W203.

I am not talking about gaps. It just doens't feel right jamming it in that hard.
Feels like i will never get the tacho out again.

Does anyone know what this means? Does it mean that there is a problem with the convertible roof?

That is the back mounting frame that is to small. You have to replace it or cut off alot of details on it. Yes..That is a cluster from a W209 Conv...Dont know if you can use it on a W203. Try to pogram it or take away the LED.

Yeah i was thinking about asking steve to program it for a clk coupe.

I will first try to cut away some of the back frame.

The cluster also has the black series "carbon fiber" frame :-)

Yes i have a +05 so i have the right fuel pump and stuff from stock.
It works except for the mileage. I have to get that reset and then make the cluster fit properly.

Chris I have a random question for you...

Do you know if It's possible to program a face-lifted analog climate control unit to work in a pre facelift digital? I know alot of people upgrade to the digital, but I would much prefer a knob to adjusts temps rather than tapping a button repeatedly. I've heard the analog units are not plug and play...as in the dual climate control aspect does not work. Not to mention analog units are much easier to come by.

Hello guys, I retrofit the central console of my W203@2001 to Audio 20, but have a small issue. Cluster display info and steering controls don't work.
Audio is working normaly. When I turn the ignition switch, it power's on. On the cluster display the only info is: Audio ----

My wiring is as follows:

Quadlock pins:
9 CAN Bus Low Brown
10 Mute Yellow/Black
11 CAN Bus High Brown/Red
12 Terminal 31 (-) Brown
13 Antenna Supply Black
15 Terminal 30 (+) Red/Blue

Please help me to find out what's going on.

Thank you Chris for your reply.

So i have two options here. To replace the cluster with w209 or w203 facelift right ?

I know that there are several issues with w209 cluster. ODO meter and fuel meter.

If i choose the w203 instrument what will be the issues and what shoud i do to fix them ?

P.S. Sorry fot the questions, I've tryind to find similar thread but no success.

Hi, I'm trying to change the comand comand 2.0 for NTG2
scheme have the iso connectors at quadlock
thanks
this is my email (jlelvira@aol.es)
.................................................. ......................
in my 2001 c-class the comand 2.0 has other plugs and cables than the comand aps in the 2004 model (should be the same plugs and cables to the harddrive comand aps you used)...i've always read that everything just goes plug & play.
i have nearly all the parts i need from the facelift model but i don't want to buy the comand aps if it won't work...

here are two pics with (not mine - i have it from the net) comand 2.0 and comand aps backs:

they have some cables that don't fit, e.g. gps...
please help me!

cheers mario[/QUOTE]
