If for example the tire is $100 and they say it has 50% tread left and they honor the clain, they'll sell you a new tire for $50.

Forgot to mention that my 2002 c230 was a coupe and the guy who want's them have an 2005 sedan. This is with the steel rims and the tires. I think the bolt pattern should be the same unless the brakes changed on the 2005?

Not sure about the Evo package, but 05 C230k has a big front sport break caliper. When I had a flat, I tried to fit my 02 C240 16" steel spare wheel on my 05 C230K and it didn't fit. The bolt pattern is the same but the caliper clearance isn't the same.

Your steel rims must have at least 2" space from the mounting surface to the back of the spoke for them to fit otherwise the front won't fit ...I guarantee that.

Tire Size Calculator
What's goin' on everybody? My cousin told me about a great website that will help you identify what tires should fit as close as possible with whichever wheel size upgrade you go with. Remember, this is only for tires, but it is a good guage for knowing what you can switch up to when upgrading:

Who needs a calculator for that simple math. :p
Actually there is more to this than meets the eye. Why would MB on the W203 use a staggered setup of 225 front and 245 rear? Clearly the cheat sheets posted would suggest a 255 rear. Could there be a little more insight that would shed some light on this matter. This particular calculator goes a little more in depth as to what is involved.

Tire Change
I need to get the new tires. Front tires are ready for new ones. However rear tires are still good. Where should I put the new tires (rear or front)?

Hmmm... the rear on mine worn out faster than the front. I take it you don't have staggered fitment...than it should go to the front...because they control the car direction and do most of the braking.

If the tires are not staggered, most tire companies will tell you the new tires should go on the rear axle. Read the links below for more info...
