Tore the air intake tube
Should I be worried about this? Should I repair it with duct tape or replace it entirely? I put it back in the way it came out, and unless you were to take it out again, it's not clear that the tube has come apart. Car seems to run fine this way so far.
The tube is not much of a heat issue.

The replacement is not too expensive from an online wholesale dealer.
And it looks better than a duct tape repair

$5 worth of Krazy Glue (get the Gel type) and it's been holding. Everything just tucks back together if you're careful, because of the "spiral spring" reinforcement. If you do it carefully and pop everything back into the correct position, you won't even be able to tell from a cosmetic perspective. The piece is not structural at all. All it does is provide a channel of air from outside the engine. Because of the way it's constructed and supported under the hood, you probably won't need to glue it if you are so inclined. The spring will hold everything together. But this is not recommended as it will now also allow hot air from the engine inside, reducing engine performance.
RMEuropean sells it for $50 if you're really ****. Cheapest I could find so far.
