Get some BiX headlights
After I installed clear side markers, my headlights started to look ugly and yellowish, so I was kind of forced to get BiX lol

If my headlights get yellow, I'll just fade the side markers to match.

i know this thread is a couple months old, but i found a headlight restoration guy on craigslist. they sand down the top layer of oxidation and plastic, and make the headlights look almost new. cost me 20 bucks here in nj for both headlights to be done

Did he apply some protective coating after sanding? Otherwise it will cost you another $20 in a couple of months.

I used a Mother's kit that worked fine (the more deluxe version, where you do no sanding by hand - those work horribly).

Have done several pair now, so it's cheaper than $20 and took about 20-40 mins for each car. Much cheaper than bix.

I can't believe he's using the photos already, I checked it out on a whim.

Scottonfire, How did you 'paint' or retouch the black switch button'?

If you're talking about the radio, I bought a thin paint brush, went to auto zone and got a black matte spray paint, sprayed the end of the paint brush, dabbed on to cover the white, then of course took back the spray paint since I only used 1/1000 of the bottle.

If you're talking about the buttons on the steering wheel, it's not paint, it's anti-paint. You can scratch off the soft streaky paint with your fingernail. Takes a minute, but looks so much better than peeling paint.

Ok thanks I'll experiment on one in the back so if it's a ****-up I won't be continually remindered.
