how often do you wax your car?
I noticed that water on my 2002 Mercedes C240 does not form individual droplets on my car when I wash it anymore (like when it was new). Is this a sign that my car needs to be waxed?
Do you guys do anything else besides waxing your car to keep it looking like new?

Um, are you saying you haven't waxed your car since 2002?
Your car definitely has no wax on it anymore. None.
If you want your car to always look like new, you should probably wax it every month.
But if you haven't done any paint care for 2 years, there's probably a bunch of other stuff you need to do first. Like cleaning, polishing, claying.
This thread should be moved to the Detailing forum. shortbear, spend some time reading through the threads in the Detailing forum, it will be much more enlightening than posting this in the W203 forum.

Are you trying to be funny?
I think the word you are looking for is "patina". But your post still doesn't make any sense.

If your car is out of warranty, sell it immediately and get a new one.

The sheeting action of the deionized water from the Mr Clean Autodry is a totally separate thing from whether his car is beading water or not.
I highly recommend Mr Clean Autodry (just used it again today in fact). However, I also highly recommend either waxing your car yourself or having someone else do it. Beading is good.
And I know you are joking Buellwinkle, shortbear, wash and wax is not covered under your warranty. It just seems that way in SoCal.

I Zaino my cars every 4-6 mos. Usually about 5-7 coats. Stays slicks and smooth during that whole time. Then it's back to the clay and start over again.

Show me in the MB warranty where it says you get free car washes at your dealer.

3-4 times/year with Klasse. Once per year is a 'Full' Detail, with Clay, polish, All-In-One, and Sealant/Glaze. The rest of the year is just a reapplication of the Sealant/Glaze.

I wax my vehicles with Zaino every 4-6 months also along with the claying routine.
