you didn't have to go to the dealer to have them activate it??

also, you can adjust the height of the lights at home,
there is a screw on top of the light assembly that you can turn to adjust.
make sure you don't raise it all the way because the adjuster will pop out if it goes up all the way.

looks good!!
bi xenons are essential on these cars

B carefull when u adjusting it by yourself, you might over turn it and end up with a loose projector.

Yes I have the dealer set xenon->present
I tried to adjust it with the screw but the light pattern is still weird.
The cut off line isnt a straight line, it has a little step to it.

It looks something like this:

-----\__------\______

It's gonna be hard to get them perfect, but close is good enough. Just as long as you don't bother other drivers too much. If you want some different blubs (ie. 6000K, 8000K, etc.) try here:

Plasma Garage

Great prices, great service. I have 8000K for my C32 and bought a 6000K HID foglight kit for my Viper (which looks sweet with my 6000K headlights).

did you buy the Euro Bi-Xenon? The light pattern you describe is normal, but it should be the reverse direction for the U.S. version. My advice is to don't adjust it too high because you will get high-beamed.

Actually what you have is UK spec.

Yes, there are 3 different specs. As Citron described:

Thanks for the info, but I really hate the light pattern I have. Its somewhat annoying when you see this cut off line not perfectly straight. Is like something is missing on one side. Any ways to fix it? And do I have it too low? The cut off line on freeway shows at about 2.5 car length ahead.

I got both European & US version Bi-X from Steve for my 2 C-class. I still prefer European patten. Regarding the scratches, you will get your own set of rock chip in no time unless you place some protection film to it.

My Euro version has a little black switch behind the projector housing which my US don't have. I can change level the ___/---- patten to ______ (perfectly flat). Check and see if you have that black lever behind your projector housing. Otherwise you UK patten will basically blind on coming traffic which is a NO NO!

Looks Great and good luck.

You have to open that big black plastic cover first and the black lever will be right behind the Xenon Bulb/projector housing.

I think u should have it since UK can need to drive in Europe too.

Welcome to the BiX club.
If you really want BiX, get them off Steve. (he had 2 pairs of bix about a month ago, I bought one of them). Yeah, there are flaws, but when I changed my halogens out my halogen lenses were much more damaged than the used bix ones, and I baby my car.

You can aim them yourself, not too hard. Play with the screw on the top of the assemblies. Yes, aim them too high and everyone flashes you.

Euro lights are like _____----- each light. That's normal, so you don't blind oncoming traffic. Definitely lights up everything nicely. There's a plate that moves between low and high beam (solenoid controlled), the bottom edge of the plate determines the cutoff pattern.

Sorry to give you the wrong color on the switch..it's WHITE not BLACK.
Here is some pictures. It's kind of hard to take clear pictures since the wheel wall is blocking the way. The Switch is on the outter side of the xenon bulb which you can hardly see it but you can reach them by hand.

here are few pics...on passanger side(edit).
