License Plate Frames (All You Want To Know)

, but I was talking about the handle that is part of the trunk. I'm also referring to the Sedan; I'm not sure what the Coupe has to close it's hatch (is it the same?). Did you purchase something extra??
Closing the hatch is pretty easy though, you just use the inside handle until it hits the mid-point, which is about 1 foot off completely closed. Gravity provides enough to finish the job, very straightforward.
As for my frame, I use a 1/2" wide chrome bordered one that is designed to go behind the plate, so you don't see where it attaches. So it's similar to using no frame, but with an extra chrome border around the outside, cleaner and less cheap-looking than just plate only.

Don't really like preyx's gravity-enhanced option.
License Frame
I used to have a plastic cover in my plate in the back but recently replaced it with a chrome frame that I got from Pepboys. They seem to have a lot of choices from simple to low-rider / custom.

Believe it or not, I got my plain black metal license plate holder at either Target or Walmart. My car is black, so it blends in nice, and gives the plate a nice "finished" look, like it was originally part of the car.
On another note, I've never found that handle to close the truck difficult to use. In fact, I think it works quite nicely.

Mercedes dealers do sell their own official chrome/gold license plate frames, with "Mercedes Benz" either printed or in cursive. They add a very good accent to the car, especially those painted in dark colors. I'm thinking of getting them for my mom's car, which is still running the stock dealer frames.
Anybody know where I can find just a plain thin chrome frame? No lettering, just chrome frame? I've been looking around ebay and my local area and can't find any but I've seen them on cars.
