deactivate ESP
I am glad that the car has the option of on-off function but i would prefer off to be 100% off.
Even now you can have powerslide but under certain conditions that you fool the esp,i would like to have the option to drift (a little bit)on demand.
Thank you in advance for any info on the subject.

first of all i am glad to inform you that i am not in the emergency,
second i would like to inform you that know how to drive,
third i didnt claim to be Shumi,or Alonso (i hate this guy anyway) or Jeff Gordon or Superman.
I am just a guy who enjoy fully the capabilities of the car a drive.
I never mentioned that i want to be compared with anybody or be anybody else than myself.
And yes i enjoy drifting with my car by myself in roads with no traffic so im am not hurting anybody but my tires.
Now if some of you cannot drift, your afraid,or dont like it its up to you.
Since we are in a forum i just asked for an info about the car if you dont know anything about it forget about it.
But i really wonder since you gave all this money for a car like the c200 wouldn be nice to enjoy fully the driving experience thet this car can provide.
Believe me try spining your mercs a little bit its BIG fun.
And by the way CE EXO in Greek means I GOT YOU.
most amg newer have this procedure hope it helps.
1. Insert your key and turn to position 1.
2. Press the trip odometer reset button three (3) times.
3. The first screen you will see on the MFD is the battery voltage in the following format - UB: 12.0 V
4. Press the UP arrow button on the steering wheel.
5. You will now see other information such as Software Version, etc. If you turn the key to position 2 you will get a oil reading by QTS and other info will appear.
6. If you want to put the car into DYNO mode which will disable ESP and BAS, leave the key in position 1 and hit the up arrow until you see the screen that says "ESP Dynamometer Test".
7. At this screen use your + or - steering wheel button to turn this mode ON.
8. You will get some malfunctions due to ESP, BAS, etc. being off, but this is not a problem and they will go away once you disable the DYNO mode.
9. You can start you car now to DYNO it without all the electronic wizardry getting in the way.
CAUTION: DO NOT DRIVE LIKE THIS OR BAD THINGS MAY HAPPEN. ESP, BAS, ABS are desirable when driving
10. To exit out of DYNO mode, simply turn your car off then back on and it will reset to normal.
Give it a try, works on the big engines, may work on the 200 also,
drive safe

Thank you very much for the info but i would like to point that the w204 does not have a 'trip odometer reset button' to reset the odometer you go into the menu by pressing 'ok' on the steering wheel .
So when you press the 'ok' button on the steering wheel a question if you want to reset comes up and you choose yes or no.
Thank you for the info but its not applicable on the w204.
If i am mistaken or if i didnt get it wright please correct me.
And for the pale that says thet their is not a C200 AMG i would like to inform him that in Europe there is a sport package that AMG offers with the C200 witch has AMG front & rear bumpers side skirts, difrent steering whell, metal petals, lower 15mm suspension set up,rear spoiler lip,amg floor carpets,e.t.c.so you can call it AMG look if you prefer but it still a C200 amg.
Thanks again for all your comments and replys
If you are in Greece, I'd think going around curves on those moutain roads would have to be a lot of fun. Not too sure about sliding around them, though. I could see myself going right off the side of a moutain. aaaagh..splat. lol

Back on topic, I wouldn't mind being able to turn the traction control completely off. My E320 with 4 snow tires could greatly benefit from a little more wheelspin in the white stuff.

I still don't get it. But I will say that nobody is going to be doing much of anything in a 3600 lb car propelled by a 2-liter 4 cylinder engine.

Now regarding the driving in mountain and sliding a little bit this is what i call fun and this is the original drifting.
Help i need this esp to be off when i press off otherwise they should wright on the button "ALMOST OFF" or "a little bit of fun not 100%".
